Stroke here too! But hey! Bring it on!

Really great news! Providing that it's in addition to, not instead of, the Buckingham/McVie album.

PS: To the previous poster, is that you with LB?

great stuff! I'm hanging by a thread to read the last section!!

The only bits that gave me a little pause was the reference to a Beach Boys sound on one of Chris' songs.... I find LB can sometimes impose his own sound on stuff rather than honor the underlying origins, and her blues edge on some stuff gets lost (it sounds like the song they were talking about was actually his and she added lyrics to it which is fine....but thinking of her stuff more generally).

Oh and as for his lyrics on Tusk being obscure and hard to know what they were about , that gave me a chuckle. So many of them were full-on anger at Stevie ("you're here because I say so", "what makes you think I'm the one who will love you forever?" "you can love me baby but you can't walk out" etc etc etc). Maybe the title song, but.....

Can.not.wait. for this album to come out. And I hope they play here coz I'm there regardless of price.

Please could someone upload a transcript or something? I'm dying to read it! I would be very grateful.

The end of the article states the duet album will be released in June. No specific date though. To be honest I don't find the article particularly interesting, apart from the farewell tour next year there's not much in the way of new information.

I just bought the issue for £0.99. That seems a reasonable price for an issue to me.

Something called something like "Google Newstand" that I wasn't previously familiar with.

I noticed the blurb about Lindsey working on a new solo album with a "hopefully" release at the end of the year, but they also mentioned he's also working on a retrospective album of his songs since Law & Order.

Warners

At the end of the article it states the Buckingham McVie album will be released by Warners.

This is wonderful. Thanks for posting about it.

It's hard to believe Lindsey has been married 20 years ago. Yikes, it is scary. I remember the Dance so well and when the next 20 years past that fast, I will be dead.

I feel your pain. It's really hard to believe the Dance came out 20 years ago this August. Tango 30 years... I can believe that because it came out a week after my twin girls were born and their turning 30 next week. I would listen to the cassette tape of Big Love/ You and I pt 1 non stop on the way to the hospital visiting my wife and little girls.

I listened to this great David Wild podcast from around a year ago and he said something similar to that. The Dance concert was a huge moment in his life because it was when his wife was giving birth, plus it was just an amazing time.
