Sandra Elsdon-Vigon looks back

I apologize if this has been posted here before, but I didn't spot anything. I came upon this interesting 2014 interview with Sandra Elsdon-Vigon, who was Peter Green's girlfriend during his time in Fleetwood Mac (and as early as his Bluesbreakers days). What I didn't know before was that Peter was not the only member of the band she was involved with over the years.

Life as the Girlfriend of Fleetwood Mac

Also found this cool photo that I'd never seen before, of Sandra with Peter and John - looks like from sometime in 1967.

(the photo is from this webpage: http://www.imgrum.net/media/12364228...896_3031283783).

thanxalot for this, sharksfan! sandra's "involvements" with other musicians in and out of the mac are also news to me - i wonder if these have ever been a topic one way or another here on the ledge.

as for the nice pic - i remember having run across it before somehow, but where . . . was it in "man of the world - the peter green story"?

Interesting read, thanks. I hadn't realized she was involved with the others for so long. I don't think I've ever seen the photo before and I have the Man Of The World DVD.

. . . alright, then it must've been somewhere else, but i've definitely seen it before. i remember thinkin' about both peter and sandra obviously taking to horizontally-striped outfits . . . and subsequently danny, too.

Thats really interesting.
Would have started 1974 then, right?
Then, they were 'officially' a couple for a year during the recording of Rumours.
So when Chris was knocking around with Curry Grant, John was with Sandra.

That is a great photo. So young. And amused. Michele

I think so, yes. An old thread mentions that & Sandra in the Man of the World DVD (which I need to re watch).

Thank for the new to me photo & details.

Interesting info! I had no idea she became intimate with John around 1976ish. The irony of her moving in with Christine later is delicious, and it tells us a lot about Christine: she appears to value friendship more than petty jealousy.

Re: the photo. I first saw it years ago in a 1978 book on the band called Rumors-n-Facts. It's been floating around for years. Only now I know the banckstory to the people in it. Cool.

That is way cool, thanks for sharing it!

It could be the other one Steve Clarke did a few years later, in 1985. I'll check.

Aha! Found it. It's not in either of the Steve Clarke books but it is on page 10 of Mick Fleetwood's MY TWENTY-FIVE YEARS IN FLEETWOOD MAC. I knew I'd seen it before.

interestingly the art direction/design for the Rumours and Tusk albums was done by a studio called Vigon Nahas Vigon, headed by Jay Vigon. Any relation?
