I just have read Ringo Starr is coming to Peru. Researching about his setlists, I found he has included Black Magic Woman - Fleetwood Mac cover. Does anybody know if there is a story behind it, or why he choose this song?

For him it's about his first wife. He found her in bed with the lead guitarist. The one that was married to the sister of Mick Fleetwood's wife at the time.

Yeah...Ringo's keyboard player this tour is Gregg Rolie who was Santana's keyboard player & lead singer on Santana's Abraxas album version. I'm proud of Ringo for noting that it is FLEETWOOD MAC that they're covering and not Santana!

By the way, Lennon was angry with Harrison, comparing that affair as being "virtual incest". So.. if Fleetwood Mac was the lovingest fightingest band of the 70s.. then Beatles could be of the 60s :D

Ringo: Drums & Vocals.

A typical Ringo All-Starr Band show would consist of Ringo singing the first few songs (a couple of his Beatle songs & one of his solo hits) then he would go behind the drums as each member of the band would do one of their most famous songs (or their band's most famous song), there'd be an intermission, then they'd do another lap around the band with each member playing another of their most famous songs, then it would end with Ringo coming out front from behind the drums to lead the sing-a-long with "Yellow Submarine" & "With A Little Help From My Friends"...and that would be it. A fun time.

Considering who he's gotten to be in his band at any particular time, it makes a pretty eclectic set list. But, always great performances!
