In The Meantime reissue?
 

On Monday all of the In The Meantime album turned up on last.fm listed as a "Reissue" (which is odd because the full tracks were up there anyway).

It's copyrighted "Universal Music Division Jazz (2009)"

Last.fm often posts albums in full before their release date, although I don't see any evidence of a re-release on Amazon, but it does seem like Universal now have the rights to the album at least. Shame there's no bonus tracks.

This must be the "reworking" of ITM that Martin Wyatt told Gail about. It lists a release date of March 23rd. I don't know why there aren't any bonus tracks included or even some outtake video clips on DVD. It looks like the only new thing is the new record label rights.

In the meantime

The least they could do is put it out on vinyl. That would be worth something, anyway.

I guess this finally puts to rest the rumour that there will be a new Christine album. (sob)

Ok, this may have been discussed before, but what is up with all the "EXPLICIT" titles on Amazon.com for ITM??

Reissue
 

Universal bought Sanctuary, who released it outside the US and Canada. In the US and Canada, E1 (formerly Koch) has the rights, and since they're indie, the album is on emusic in these countries, which is how I got it. There's no reissue that I know of.
Now if I can only get a freely licenced picture of Christine for Wikipedia.
