Dick Clark RIP at 82

I just got the word from the radio broadcasting forum that I hang out at. That the worlds oldest teenager is gone.Dick Clark from American Bandstand and ABC's Rock'N' Eve plus his DC Productions company that produces TV awards shows plus other tv programming.

I used to watch American Bandstand all the time Plus the $10000 Pyramid game show too.

It's going to really suck at the end of this year when if ABC airs Rock and Eve without Dick Clark.Ryan Seacrest is ok but alittle boring. We can't last forever.RIP Dick..

RIP Dick Clark... really enjoyed his New Year's shows before Ryan Seacrest took over. Also AB, loved watchin those dancers!! I felt so bad for him when he continued doing the New Years shows after his stroke.

Yeah, me too. He was a real hardworking guy, probably too hardworking. He will be missed.

he was on TV all my life~ from bandstand to new year's rockin' eve, from pyramid to practical jokers, hollywood squares & the american music awards~ & who knows how many other countless music & tv shows he had his hands in~

the news mentioned how many kids were babysat by dick clark on new year's eve, kids pasted in front of the TV while their parents partied, i was one of those kids in the 70's:nod:~ & now that i'm a parent, of course we turned on his new yrs show every year as well~ just to see dick, even if only at the end~

he will be missed dearly, he was the oldest teenager:D!!!~

RIP dick clark~

That was sad news. :distress:

I loved 'American Dreams' - the tv show built around 'American Bandstand' (during the early 1960's).

To come to think about.I don't remember if Fleetwood Mac ever appear on American Bandstand.I wonder why Stevie and Lindsey never sign up for the show.

Heres Mick Fleetwoods Zoo.
