Fleetwood Mac - Breaking the band premieres tonight

Saw the preview today on Reelz TV. Tonight at 10. If this has already been posted please delete. I did check but did not see anything. Here is a preview. It looks like they may re-create the Lindsey/Stevie fight in 1987. LOL Looks a bit cheezy but I will probably watch

I'm not sure this channel is available to UK viewers. Does anyone know if this Breaking the band series is available on any UK cable channels? Thanks.

The "actors" were really bad. Stevie especially. It was an older woman who looked nothing like Stevie. Ken Calliet was interviewed. Same stuff we read in his book. They totally skipped over Mirage. Didn't even mention it. Hardly anything about John, Chris or Mick. Focused on Stevie/Lindsey. I thought Greg Gorman's comments were interesting. Lindsey pretty much ran the show on Tango and he would sometimes scrap whole songs and start over. Stevie was never there and when she was it was hard to get much out of her and her vocals were really shot. The big "fight" was inaccurate. It showed Stevie running after Lindsey and he punched her. I can't believe they showed that. I don't think he hit her, he bent her over a car according to Mick in his book and they pulled Lindsey off her. Stevie said in an interview that she was attacking him also.

Imagine the actors listing this work on their cvs.

I hope they paid him well to be associated with this travesty.

Are we sure he was interviewed especially for this programme? Could his sections have been culled from other interviews? If he did contribute especially for this programme then that's pretty low of him really. I know his name is already dirt amongst some of the band members but it'll be even worse now.

I am still laughing.

Putrid on top of putrid

It was so bad it was almost good. Like a parody of those campy E! "documentaries".

jbrownsjr 07-09-2018 08:52 PM

I have it DVR'd for Thursday... Now i'm curious.

The same cast should do every episode no matter who the band is.
