"We fall to earth together,
the crowd calling out for more."

I love this line. I definitely voted for Sad Angel, they had me since Boston. Love it, it's catchy and suits Stevie's voice. Easy to sing along to

It's Miss Fantasy for me.....oh such ear candy.

proly sad angel.
they're all great.

lindsey has grown by leaps and bounds as a songwriter over the last 10-15 years.
in the 70's and 80's he was pretty much Moon/June/Spoon...

I'm so impressed with these 4 tracks. I hear Sad Angel and Miss Fantasy as true Fleetwood Mac classics. These tracks make me miss Christine's vocal and keyboard more then I did on Say You Will. I'm not sure why? Miss Fantasy screams Christine's vocals on the chorus. I still give these tracks a 10. This could be the beginning of one heck of an album.

Sad Angel was my favorite but then Miss Fantasy hooked me. I find myself wanting to listen to it, over and over again. There is a little bit of sadness underlying it that draws me in, in addition to the great hooks and melody.

I actually thinks Stevie's subtle voice works well on this. It's almost like she's drifting in the background, something that's not quite within grasp. I think that really adds something considering the lyrics. It's like you almost want more of her...I love the effect, even if unintentional.

I love every single song, but Miss Fantasy has caught me with its harmonizes and bittersweetness.

Good way of putting it. I've worn this song out so much. The first listen I was singing the Chorus. THAT'S....pop perfection.:blob2:

Yes, this is what I thought of her voice on Miranda. Since Miranda was going crazy, Stevie's voice on that song kind of enhanced the sense of schizophrenia. This other voice whispering or chanting. It added to the detachment from reality.

And yes, by the time we get to the end of Miss Fantasy, when Lindsey is singing alone again, you can get the impression that she's receded into memory and is no longer with him. Can't go back.

Sad Angel. I am addicted.
It's one of my all-time favourite Lindsey songs.

maybe..

I've just been lying to myself.. and no one else..

It Takes Time is by far my favorite track from this so-called extended ep. I must be old.. but I'll take any new music from Fleetwood Mac, even if it takes time. What is this EP trip..

I simply adore "It Takes Time" for its simplicity.. it just seems real. Like Lindsey needed to say something in whatever space he is in at this time. It's a beauty.

Next in line is "Miss Fantasy" with its heavy rhythm section beat of drums and bass.. but wait, isn't that what makes Fleetwood Mac tick.. that rhythm section of McVie and Fleetwood. ..but I remember you..

"Sad Angel" is too much fun, and since I've heard it live it provides me a necessary dance. Reminds me of the concert...

oh yeah.. there was another song on this extended EP. "but I remember you.."

Love Miss Fantasy, just wish Stevie's harmony was slightly higher in the mix. Maybe it's the mp3. Also wish her vocals would be on the fade out at the end, and that the piano would of had some fills at the end. But I do love it a lot. That's the producer/editor in me. Let me add that Mick's drumming is fantastic (so FM), love the fills and the sound of the drums. John rocks as well. Great sounding song. If only Christine....

If they do a full album they need to add Mick and John to Without you (i'm assuming that isn't them on it?" and Lindsey needs to change the guitars to warm acoustic guitars surrounding the mix. No fuzzy guitars. I would also add some of his harmonic guitar fills that he's famous for a la Over my head, Silver springs.
