If Chris were a pilgrim in "Canterbury Tales," which one would she be? The monk, with his tales of tragedy from antiquity? The prioress, who spoke less-than-perfect French? The nun? The squire? The reeve? The cook?
I think the cook. I've no idea whether that fits with the character in the book but the job title would suit her nicely.
