Just spare me a little of the real story.
|
confirming this story is the challenge... lol
|
But if it's true, I will be So Excited.
Michele |
the chances of a new album are one in a million
|
If it's not true and she has no plans to record again, I just want to know WHY.
Michele |
what i don't understand is Why Are we Keeping Secrets
|
A new album from Christine would be an experience I would Never Forget. I mean, I listen to her songs Over and Over. Her voice is One in a Million, etc..., ad nauseum.
Sorry, I couldn't resist. |
no Little Lies, lol
Robert Bingham has always been on the money in the past concerning Christine news. He lives near Kent Co and is a huge Chris fan. He provided me with song titles from ITM weeks before they were confirmed so I myself am not going to be so quick to write him off with this news. Having said that, I can understand anyones doubts without solid confirmation. All we can do is wait and see ;) |
The important thing is that we don't stop hoping.
Michele |
All these references to song titles go right "over my head"
Gail |
even if the news isn't true it'll never make me cry
|
Well someone should think about me. If this isn't true I don't know what I'll do because I'm too far gone to turn around.
Gail |
you make posting fun gail
|
If Chris puts out a new album, it won't be a bad journey, homeward bound from the record store.
|
These song title puns have really got a hold on us!:sorry:

This is becoming A Fine Mess

It's totally in her blood, so I could easily see her do that again. I mean, it's what she did her entire adult life. You can retire from the music business, but you Don't Stop being a musician.

I remember ITM being rumored on here a year or 2 prior to its actual release, and I agree that a new Christine solo album would be very much appreciated. My favourites from that album are "Givin it back", "Friend", "Bad Journey" and "Sweet Revenge". I enjoyed the RNB sound of "Forgiveness", a lot, too, but I had been hoping for more of her own keyboard work than such a high number of funk rhythm guitar. Still, it's probably down to who's the guitarist and what does the producer want. I'd be very happy if she'd invite Billy Burnette and Michael Thompson (that solo on "Hollywood (Some Other Kind of Town)" is fabulous) to the sessions, and would love it if she'd dare to prominently feature herself playing vintage keyboards from the 70s and 80s.
Hopefully, she'll find a label to license the new record to, because Sanctuary Records, who released ITM is not in business anymore, if I remember correctly. My suggestion for that would be Proper Records from the UK, because they've got some experience with marketing artists in the 2nd half of their careers. |

I hope we do get another solo album but I'm not holding my breath. Gail |

Celebrations
By mcgarrygirl78(The West Wing Minificathon Community) Danny felt uncomfortable with the silence that followed so he slipped a tape into the deck. The voice of Christine McVie filled the car. Can you hear me calling. Out your name. You know that I'm falling. And I don’t know what to say ... The West Wing Minificathon Community - http://community.livejournal.com/tww_minis/ |
