Has anyone's "Anthology" CD arrived yet?
 

I bought a few tickets to LB's tour and signed up for the free accompanying CD, but I can't find any tracking info for them, now that they are due to have been shipped. Has anyone gotten theirs in the mail yet? Today's the day they should start arriving, right?

Got my shipping notice email yesterday (thursday)

I received my tickets in the mail today.
I got the email that the CDs are on the way 3 days ago. Should be here any day

Tracking says I should get my CDs on Tuesday Oct 9

My CDs arrived today! The sticker on the plastic wrap says it includes the two new songs... but they aren’t on here. There are 21 songs, all previously released.

I assume this is the case for everyone’s???

Are we only getting the single CD version not the 3 disc version?

I’m surprised “Wrong” isn’t on here. I never liked the song myself, but it was the first single from OOTC wasn’t it?

I’ve been pretty convinced that he’s saving it for this tour. Though, as I’m listening to his selections for the anthology, and feeling very connected to his emotions right now (this man speaks to me more than anyone in my life ever has), I think that he’s more hurt by this situation than angry.

“Wrong” is a (rightfully) angry and vengeful song. Lindsey seems to be more healing through the endlessly sorrowsome emotions of “Soul Drifter” than a track like “Wrong”.

I wonder if Nancy’s story about trying to get Lindsey to play Soul Drifter in the 2000s didn’t resonate with him at the time because he was whole - with being back into Fleetwood Mac and the creative force behind it once again.

Perhaps, these emotions are all too familiar to him. Betrayal, selfishness, longing, misunderstanding...

I got my 3CD collection today. I can’t wait to listen to the set in order tomorrow on my way to work.

My copy also arrived today! I was disappointed it was only the one CD, though. Still excited.

I, too, am surprised Lindsey didn't include Wrong here. And it's not on his set list, nor is Countdown. I'd love to hear both live.

Mine's on the way. Should get it this week sometime. I opted for the 3 cd set. Going to be playing this for quite some time. Nice body of work Mr. Buckingham!

On edit, maybe you were just asking if the free cds arrived for those that bought concert tickets. So sorry if I supplied you with useless information. :laugh:

I'll buy it if it has great art or photos. I'm a visual learner.

My CD has nothing in terms of liner notes. Just 2 pictures of Lindsey and a track listing. Disappointingly sparse :(
