Least Favorite Christine song from Bare Trees
 

Moving on now to Bare Trees, one of my favorite Fleetwood Mac albums. :D

Just two songs from Christine, "Homeward Bound" and "Spare Me a Little".

I guess I have to go with Spare Me A Little. I'm not really nuts about either song to be honest. I never have gotten all the love for Bare Trees exhibited on the Ledge, but that's just my own personal feelings. That being said, I've always found it fascinating that Christine was sick of touring & being part of the "machine" all the way back in 1972. Yet she rode that wave for another quarter century before finally calling it quits.

I love Spare Me a Little, but the fact that I've heard live versions probably gives it an unfair edge in my mind/ear.

I actually like both songs, but chose Homeward Bound just to make a choice. I wouldn't call it "least favourite". More like "prefer one over the other" in this case.
