for the love of Dolly

and you thought Stevie fans were nuts?

I've seen this docudrama about 3 times and it cracks my **** up...especially when the 2 girls find Dolly's assistant's car on the used lot and well, I won't spoil it for anyone, but it's worth watching for that scene alone. I can honestly see a lot of myself and my obsession with Mama Nicks in these folks, but only in support and love, not in any other way...just to be clear. once you see some of these people, you'll know why I say that.

Damn, I thought I could watch it online. Sounds interesting. Fans are... scary.

I tried to find clips on YouTube to post, but couldn't find any.

it plays on Bravo from time to time.

I've been dying to see this. I've got to check the Bravo site and DVR it.

I have always wanted to meet Dolly -- she seems like such a sweet person. Each summer I say that I want to go to Dollywood. I might just have to really do it next year...

if you thought that before and love Dolly, you'll be even more in love with her after you watch it. I love Dolly and had a chance to meet her a couple years ago in New Orleans and now I don't remember why I didn't (I'm thinking I had a show somewhere and chose that over her :( ), but I still kick myself.

I'd love to see this! And I'd kill to meet Dolly, of course. Dollywood continues to be one of the final places on my where I want to visit before I die list. We should have a Ledgie outing there. :D

I love Dolly. I've been to Dollywood. And I want to meet her...

But I'm not crazy fanatical. (Although, I did have a delusional moment when I thought she might visit me at my intership for this new album...)

^^^Hopefully she'll do a performance there next year. She used to play a few shows every year (sometimes Xmastime) but hasn't in the last 2-3 years. Or, we could go for the annual opening day parade. She's always there.

I think I'd rather meet Dolly than Stevie. :o

The Scotties and I are in --

Are pets allowed on park?
Although pets are not permitted inside Dollywood, our one-of-a-kind kennel, Doggywood®, is available for the convenience of our Guests and their dogs. Service animals for Guests with disabilities are allowed inside Dollywood.

Do you have kennels for my pet?

Doggywood® is a one-of-a-kind, climate-controlled indoor dog care facility. Doggywood is constructed in the style of a rustic Smoky Mountain cabin. For owners who really want to “pamper their pooch,” four cottages are available, or smaller kennels are available. An additional amount will be charged for each additional dog sharing a kennel or cottage. Visit our Doggywood Information page for prices.

The daily rental fee provides each dog its own water supply, and a walk area is located adjacent to the building so owners can spend time with their pets without having to leave the park. Space is limited, and reservations are highly recommended. Please call 865-428-9826 during Park operating hours. Without a reservation, all kennels at Doggywood will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Visit our Doggywood Information page for more information. *Please note: Doggywood can only accommodate dogs.
