Steven Tyler: Nashville fits 'like an old shoe'

Tyler’s debut solo album “We’re All Somebody from Somewhere," released Friday, is thick with songs Tyler penned in Nashville with Nashville songwriters. The Cadillac Three’s Jaren Johnston wrote the title track with Tyler; frequent Carrie Underwood co-writer Hillary Lindsey has a credit on three tracks; country singer Eric Paslay has a co-write; along with other Nashville mainstays Brad and Brett Warren, Brett James, Ross Copperman, Rhett Akins, Chris DeStefano and Cary and Nathan Barlowe.

Even Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham contributed a guitar solo for a track entitled “Gypsy Girl” while the album was being engineered in Los Angeles.

Well, it is not a solo at all. It's tasteful, sometimes godawesomely beautiful pickin' on an acoustic. The song is cheesy, ( as is the biggest part of the whole record ), but beautifully produced.

Thanks for the heads up!
