can anyone guess what kind of sneakers are in the photo on the Tusk cover?


Just curious...

Look like Addidas to me.

I believe they are Jox Sneakers. They were really popular in the 70's, I used to wear them. In the same time warp as Jordache jeans. "In" at the time, but then became kinda cheesy.

Were they around back then?

Adidas was one of THE brands "back in the day"!
I remember all the different colored t-shirts with the large logo on the front.
They were "Nike" before there was a Nike.

Addidas' were around as far back as the '60s.

According to their web site, 1920 (!). The original designer's name was Adi Dassler - guess it's obvious where 'Adidas' came from.

They are the only tennis shoes I wear. I'm trying to find some white and silver Millenium Sambas for a decent price. I've worn my others out.

Adidas is the brand with three stipes and from looking at the pic....they are not Adidas.

More like "OMG we're discussing what SHOES are on the cover of a Fleetwood Mac album .... send help."
