The Best Fest periodically puts on festivals where musicians and comedians gather to celebrate the work of one iconic artist. (Previous installments focused on George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Tom Petty, Brian Wilson, and the Rolling Stones.) The latest is Fleetwood Mac Fest. It happens on February 9-10 at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, and the lineup features Joanna Newsom, Mark Ronson, the Kills' Alison Mosshart, and others.

Sarah Silverman, Will Forte, Perry & Etty Farrell, Dhani Harrison, Cold War Kids, Karen Elson, and more (including "surprise guests") will also perform. Proceeds will benefit Sweet

I really do wish I could go. My spouse was peeking at the website last night...but I'm not sure I want to fly our there for a weekend.

I do wish more stuff like this happened outside of LA and NY.

They have added to the lineup to include Courtney Love which is cool. I imagine she'll do Gold Dust Woman but who knows. They also have discount tickets (which all of these in the past have had as well - Petty Fest, Neil Young Fest, Harrison Fest).

The Sweet Relief Musicians Fund presents the Fleetwood Mac Fest on February 9 and 10 at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles.

The event will see a plethora of artists celebrate the music of Fleetwood Mac while making money to help musicians struggling to make ends meet while facing illness, disability, or age-related problems.

Among the artists taking part will be Mark Ronson, Courtney Love, Carly Rae Jepsen, Weezer's Brian Bell, Alison Mosshart, Perry & Etty Farrell, Joanna Newsom, Cold War Kids, KT Tunstall, Dhani Harrison, PHASES, Will Forte, Ruby Amanfu, Sarah Silverman, Karen Elson, Butch Walker, Doyle Bramhall II, Jess Wolfe & Holly Laessig (of Lucius), Jessie Baylin, The Pierces, Jamestown Revival, Danny Masterson, Bijou Phillips, Elvis Perkins, Emily Armstrong, Adam Busch, Jack Dishel, Mereki And Many Many More Surprise Guests!

Is anyone here going to Fleetwood Mac Fest next week? I'm going by myself because none of my friends are cool enough to love Fleetwood Mac! Wah Wah waaah. Would love to meet people if anyone is going!!
