Awards ceremonies have certainly got a little bit more sophisticated since then!

Fascinating that the bands are referred to with the prefix "The " :

THE Fleetwood Mac ,THE Jethro Tull , THE Blind Faith- I'm surprised the commentator didn't say THE Christine Perfect and THE Eric Clapton "
(I think it's THE Keith Emerson of THE Nice (valid usage! ) sitting next to THE Ian Anderson, in the shot just after the one where THE Christine collects her award ?)

(Er I forgot to say - yes there was sound !)

And I think it's Roger Chapman lead singer of ( THE) Family ,in the two shot with Mick Fleetwood early on .

Adding "The" in front of any band's name seems to have been common in the late '60s, particularly in the UK. You often see Cream referred to as The Cream.

And don't forget "Les Fleetwood-Mac" in Paris! :)

There were three bands better than THE Mac in their category --I don't think so !!!

And where were Danny and Jeremy ?

and one bottle of champagne between all of Jethro Tull (er- I mean THE Jethro Tull ) things really have changed !

Yes but somehow it seems to work either way in the case of that band .

In French it's quite cute !
And aren't those great clips of them on this show /

( I suppose that's why Les Paul is called Les Paul .........................)

Where was film cameras?

I am wondering, where are hidden all the film footage of Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac's concerts? There's got to be them? For example, it would be fun to see live images of Boston Tea Party concert live recording in 1970 when the band was at its best. There was the best possible recording equipment, but there was not any film camera?
