Boise show cancelled And now im bummed
 

Looks like its been cancelled because of an accident carrying his equipment.According to ticket web anyways.:( :( :(

That really sucks. :( I hope they organise another date for you all since it was due to an accident.

Oh no! I know someone who flew there specifically for the show. I hope there's something else to do in Boise.

Lindsey's equipment truck was involved in an accident overnight leaving Spokane, WA. Fortunately no one was injured, but the accident made it impossible to get to Boise in time to load in for the show. Tonight's show will be cancelled.

But why not just reschedule it?

Oh no! We went to Spokane last night and were joking about driving down to Boise to see him again. I hope he reschedules because only at the Big Easy can you stand in the front having paid the same thing as everyone else.

Yeah, I'm major bummed. Just went down there and there were signs saying it was cancelled. :( Especially since there was no assigned seating..could have got up front.

On what day? There aren't any days left on the tour itinerary to plug a rescheduled Boise date into. I know they have the day off tomorrow, but that was obviously always scheduled as a travel day. They can't do the show in Boise tomorrow and haul ass 900+ miles through the Rockies to make a 2PM load-in in Rapid City as the second date of 4 dates in a row (others being Sioux Falls & Fargo). It just doesn't work. I'm sorry that your show was cancelled.

Look at it this way- at least they didn't cancel your date AND add a dozen additional dates in cities other than yours within ten days of the cancellation (re: many people's experience- including mine- with Stevie Nicks' 2001 tour)

So the word in Idaho is that the equipment bus hit an elk. I'm guessing Lindsey's equipment still fared better than the elk...

I can't remember......but does Lindsey plan on touring in support of his 2008 release?

AliP... So far he hasn't said anything in interviews or anything about touring behind the 2008 release either way. However, during the Toronto show, he said something about getting "back out here behind the new CD early next year", ie. touring... ??? LOL, my boyfriend almost went deaf thanks to the huge loud scream that escaped my mouth at that moment. However, to the absolute best of my knowledge, there are no official plans or even thoughts of official plans to tour next year, at least not yet. I get the feeling the desire is there, though, so who knows?

I'm sorry to y'all who were planning to go to the Boise show...I was very seriously trying to find a way to go to that show, but it was too expensive...and I'm sorta glad it didn't work out, now...I'd be beyond upset!

I think at this point, what he needs to do is do a little tiny mini-tour in August of Boise and Lincoln. I so don't care who I have to kill: I'll make it to one of 'em, I swear. I've been to a show on every other leg of this tour--to sit out an entire leg is KILLING me!!! ;)
