Christine Photos Through the Decades
 

Time to share photos! For organization, let's go by decades. I'll begin with a photo from the 60s when she was still perfect. :lol:

Now that's something I'd pay to see. Christine playing badmitton, in what appears to be Stevie-esque boots, after she's made a trip to the liquor store. :laugh:

Wow, thanks so much for posting all of those photos, Erica! They brightened up my day! Add me to the list of people whom Miss McVie usually has that affect on! :)

She was still perfect, of course, but she was also already 'McVie' when that was taken. :) I think that was 1970, at Kiln House?

Wish i had new ones, all my favorites I think i stuck in my j/c story....

I think all 3 were 1969. Last one is funny; that's the way she mainly saw John in 1968-69-- up on the wall LOL. :D

Thanks for posting those pictures. :) I've never seen that picture of Chris looking at John's picture before, Lis. By the way, I think that may be a tennis racket, not a badminton racket in that first picture.

I don't have too many pictures from the 60s.

Excuse me if these are not all from the 60s...some are from the early 70s, maybe? Anyway, it's Christine...

I'm in the early 70's now....digging up whatever I can find...

OK here are 4 of Chris, and the last one is of John simply because he was *such* a hottie, he was smokin'. ;) (I think that was around 1966.)

The smoldering McVie set. At least, that's what I like to call 'em.

I bought a set of those pics (of the whole 1974 band) and the negatives from Ebay!! LOVE those pictures; Chris is truly so gorgeous. I should look so good with a 'schmata' (isn't that the right yiddish word??) on my head....

I keep meaning to buy a cool frame to display that set of 5 pictures we got.

Oh BTW we sent a set to Bob Welch; he said they were taken after the bogus band craziness, and thought they were taken at some Warner Bros office.

Not everyone can pull off the fortune teller look like she can. I have the most trouble trying to find the perfect frame. Here are two more...love the hair and belt. :laugh:

NicksIllume, I was just ready to try to post those last 2 pictures from 1972. I LOVE those two. I'm going to see if I can get this to work. I've never tried this before. I'm just testing here.

I love those pictures also, her shaggy-mop-hairdo is too cute. Why do i have the feeling she and John were cutting their own hair back in those days?? :laugh: bad haircuts are funny.

Here's a few more. The first one is the from the Kiln House tour, the second one with John from sometime in the early 1970's.

NicksIllume, that 1st one in your last batch is from that clip of them in the diner, right? *groan* I would kill for all the old footage that just languishes in storage somewhere. I'd imagine John has tons of it since he was sort of the camera guy back then.

But anyway it's neat seeing some of these 'rarer' pictures.

Those are screen caps from Mick's Bravo Profile...that's where I got those. I couldn't imagine seeing all of the old footage especially Japan Rumours.

That's her Melody Maker Award acceptance! Have you seen the little video snippet of that? Tiff or somebody should post that.

I miss her too, but our hearts will rise up with the morning sun.

I got some more. This one is an earlier 1970's picture of John & Chris.

And now, more from 1975-1977. The last picture is Chris with a cigar & Bob Welch.

The infamous cigar! I lost that picture two summers ago when my laptop first crashed and have never been able to find it until now. You've made my day!

Quite welcome. I've been told by several that I could pass for her daughter. At first, I wasn't quite sure how to take that, but it's a great compliment to me now.

I'd definitely take that as a compliment. Christine McVie is a beautiful lady, in my opinion. :)

I think Lis put the first one in the Chris/John story. But, it's just too good a picture not to add to this thread. Of course, this is from her Christine Perfect days in the 1960's. I've never ever seen the second picture, also from her Christine Perfect days.

Now, back to the 1970's.

So sexy in that 2nd shot w/ that 'open' v neck shirt.

A shirt like that on me would NOT be pretty. :lol:
