Humble Self-Promotion
Well, after a long, long process, a CD project I'd been working on finally has been released (well, it was released back in April, but a distribution deal has finally been struck).
The CD is by "fumble fingers" and the title is Look, Mom! No Hands. I played lead guitar (well, multiple guitar parts) on all but three tracks and bass on one track. One of my guitar parts somehow morphed into being the string arrangement of one track as well...and therefore, I had to go back and add a DIFFERENT guitar part to it. Ah, those pesky producer/engineers! The CD is available from CDBaby.com...here's the cover photo and the link to CDBaby.com. http://www.cdbaby.com/covers/f/u/fumblefingers.jpg http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/fumblefingers DISCLAIMER: I have no financial interest in the sale of this CD, I was paid a flat fee per recording session. |
Congratulations.:)

Thanks.
I welcome any comments from those who've listened to the clips...either here or privately. And, if anyone liked what they heard enough to ORDER the CD...thank you VERY much! :wavey: |
It all sounds really great! Well done!:)
The opening couple of bars of track 2, "Somewhere So Far Away", reminded me of the John Lee Hooker (with Santana) track, "Chill Out (Things Gonna Change)". :wavey: :wavey: :wavey: |
Thanks for the kind words. :)
Most of the solos were done on my Turner M-1. (especially the "Lindsey Buckingham vs Walter Egan"-type duelling solos on "Get Back To Me"). The solo on "Somewhere So Far Away" was played on my '57 Strat reissue...but that intro part was the Turner. Almost all of "On The Radio" was played on a borrowed Rickenbacker "George Harrison" model 12-string. |
