And such a voice she had. It makes you feel the emotion even if the words don’t. I am thinking of songs like Why or Over My Head. There’s an ache there.

Even Lindsey said that he and Stevie are nasal, while Christine has these honey tones. I don’t know why other celebrities don’t talk about her.

Is there an interview where Christine discusses the details of her Mother's prophesy.

I don't know if there is, but there are interviews where she discusses her mother's psychic abilities. She just did one this year. I remember old stories about her mother curing a neighbor's TERMINAL cancer completely or getting rid of a wart or some such thing. She said she had a huge wart on her nose and her mother put a finger on it and the next day it was gone.

She says her brother has psychic abilities too. I don't know if Christine does, if she has ever said that she can see into the future, but they say she has healing abilities. If her mother got rid of a neighbor's cancer by letting the neighbor wear her gloves, that's all the more reason why Christine should have at least paid a brief visit to Lindsey after his surgery. Laid hands on him or his chest or larynx. Let him slip his hand inside her glove.

She apparently has no loyalty to him, despite their loving appearances on Buck Vie.

I've lost all my respect for my life long heroine. She's only half a notch above that IDIOT Mick, and the stupid, selfish old goat.

And John is no better.

If you listen to the interview posted "Christine's Island Discs" she does talk at length about her mother's psychic abilities and how she just wanted to have a normal mother. Although her mother kept much of this part of her life private but there would be all kinds of strangers showing up at the house, etc.
As far as details about the "orange grove" she talked about this during a 1988 Rockline interview with the band to promote the "Greatest Hits" album. It seems Stevie likes to mention it more than Christine. It was brought up as a question to ask if the album cover was an orange blossom in related to the "orange grove." Christine said the album cover was not related to her mother but I believe the cover is an orange blossom? (I forget).

Thank you for the information. I made some google searches for the 1988 Rockline interview. All I could find were some CD trade sites that don't seem to have been updated for years. Do you know anywhere I can download this interview?

Christine’s mother held seances too. She was basically a witch. It would have been interesting if she had lived longer and known the Rumours band.

Somewhere in one of the gazillion interviews she's given, Christine has said she does not possess her mother's psychic abilities; however Mick says she does have the healing touch. In his first autobiography, he remembers having a seizure at a Tusk Tour press conference. Christine massaged his shoulders and the seizure abated. Reporters were said to be baffled.

Not sure if it was Rockline. Or Tony Pig's.. something or another... Maybe, Mary Turner???

But, they had asked the band where the Orange Grove came from. And Christine laughed really loud and said, "Shhtevie and Lindseyyy." And everyone laughed.

That's all I remember.

Is it the one where Billy says that he started out in life “as a small child”? The band was back in classic interview form with that one: elegantly bored, somewhat sarcastic, cliquey, sharp, good-looking (in the press photos for it). That’s the Fleetwood I miss.

I really enjoyed it, though I would have liked to have seen coverage of Christine's involvement with Behind The Mask, Time and In The Meantime.
