All of Christine's songs are worthy of #1

How do you pick?

I suppose Don't Stop, Hold Me, and Little Lies came the closest with being #3 and #4.

I was surprised that As Long as you follow did not at least crack the top 40. It was the first single released of the "new" Mac. I remember being shocked there seemed no interest  It did make it to #19 in Ireland. God bless the Irish!
It did get played on Adult Contemporary radio a bit though.

IMHO, her most IMPORTANT chart was "Got a hold on me." It was a huge hit but SO IMPORTANT it cracked the top 10 at least for one week. It proved that Christine could get top 10 hits on her own. It made her solo outing a success.

Well, obviously "Don't Stop" came the closest. "Think About Me" is her most underrated. But to me her best single was "You Make Loving Fun", with all that organ vamping and the blissful harmonies. It's #1 to me :D "Little Lies" would be a next logical choice to me. I love "Say You Love Me" but I can understand it not being a #1 record.

I tend to always think that way, but in reality, nothing I ever thought was a "sign" ever turned out good, so I'm only fooling myself.

I've heard it a lot too in many store. Hate to break it to you but you're not getting FM signs.

3. Think About Me
4. Hold Me
5. Little Lies

Little Lies should have gone to #1, it was all over the radio and MTV at the time.

As Long As You Follow is so beautiful... I was crushed it didn't do better on the charts. Same thing with Save Me. Such a great song and was the last time MTV played a FM video until they did the Dance.

But if it happens at a significant moment, that should mean something. Like, if you're about to sign a contract and an FM song pops on the radio.

I remember I spent HOURS one Christmas Eve trying to put together this Barbie camper and the camper had a working radio. So, I finally got it together and I put the batteries in and the minute I turned it on, Little Lies blared out of the tiny speakers.

The stupid entertainment center in my car defaults to a radio station I did not select and do not like, every time I leave the car and get back in. I get so angry that I change the station immediately. Yesterday I got in and Wanna Be Starting Something was playing and I listened and I said, "I'm going to turn as soon as this song ends, unless another good song comes on after." Don't Stop was the next song.

I despised You Light Up My Life, and I still do. Whenever that stinker of a song came on the radio, I would change the station so fast that I could've broken the tuning knob.
