These are lots of fun. You should definitely try to attend.

I kept seeing FLEETMAC WOOD on Soundcloud & in my Facebook feed. I never thought I'd be able to see them-it looked like they only played venues in the UK. Then I saw they were touring US & I thought I'd make a pilgramage to whatever city they played in close to me. I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw they were coming to a venue in my small city (Bellingham, WA).
I formed a theme party & rounded up lots of old friends to go in varying degrees of costume.
How was the actual event? Well...sort of 'meh'. They're not the greatest DJs, their mixes weren't real smooth, and I was a little disappointed that they seemed like they were trying to ignore us when we worked our way up to the front. We were the only people in costumes & the only people REALLY into it. I figured they'd at least smile, wave or give a little tip of the hat to the only people showing them any enthusiasm & love.
BUT...it was a celebration of Fleetwood Mac...& I do like FM remixed-so we made it fun!
Maybe if I was in a bigger city, with more real fans (and less college kids showing up because nothing else was going on in town that night) it would have been better.
But take it for what it is, and by all means go & have a blast. I'll be curious to see what you thought!
