Me with Rick Turner and LB's Guitar
Sorry i forgot to upload these last August.
While on my Honeymoon in California, I went up to meet Rick and his crew. He actually had about 8 of Lindseys guitars in getting them ready for the tour. Heres a few Pics of me acutally being lucky enough to hold them. There's a few other pics also of Rick, Barry and other Guitars etc... http://file021b.bebo.com/8/large/200...943065014l.jpg Me With Barry and LB's Model 1 http://file021b.bebo.com/8/large/200...541869907l.jpg Me with Rick Turner http://file020b.bebo.com/8/large/200...727328160l.jpg Both the one I'm holding and the one on the Work top are both Lindseys. http://file011b.bebo.com/10/large/20...435530210l.jpg Two other fine Guitars and a few RS6 guitars in the background Now wasn't that pretty cool.!!!! |
That is very, very cool! Thanks for sharing.
The model one bass is beautiful... i love the quilted wood with the burst. very stunning. Could you feel the Lindseyness radiating off the guitar? |
It was totally radiating from that guitar. Simply after touching it, i went home a better guitarist. :p

Congrats, those pics are really something! I'm jealous! I agree with Sarah that the turner bass is gorgeous. I love it!

Beautiful guitars & instruments!
Rick Turner is also an avid collector of mandolins & belongs to some sort of Southern CA mandolin society, which collects old mandolins & performs with them. He gave a mandolin concert about three years ago at the Music of Making Mucous in Carlsbad. He & his pals played many fine tunes on mandolins. My head was spinning after an evening of mandolin performance. |
GREAT pics! Glad you got to meet them! So cool.
