This is really great. I'd love to win something signed by her, especially since she rarely makes public appearances anymore.

I'd like to ask Christine what she thinks of all those fans posting conversations at www.christinemcvie.com. If she's aware of it, that whole scene must be kind of new for her. I wonder what she secretly thinks of it; I don't want to jump to conclusions.

I'd like to know what she thinks of the web site as well.......I still can't figure out what to ask her......When I try to figure it out I have a million thoughts (The more I think about it the less sense this post makes)

I know what you mean! At first I thought I would have about 5 million questions but when I actually sat down and thought about it some of them sounded so lame! I started off asking what it was like working with a member of your family and then asked if there are any more family members with a talent that we should look out for.

I think I'll ask her something about the songs and then maybe ask Dan about his future plans

I know what you guys mean. I've sent 4 e-mails so far(3 to Chris & 1 to Dan), half about the new album. I've mainly been focusing on the music. There are hundreds of questions I'd like to ask her, but I don't want to get too personal, if you know what I mean.

Also, it was kind of surreal looking at the e-mails & seeing who they're addressed to just before I sent them.

I could have written these very words. :-) Every question I really want to ask is sort of, IMO, kind of personal. I managed to get one good question off to her.

Every fiber in my being wants to ask if she has read/what her feelings are on my crazy little essay but I must show some restraint. Maybe someone else will ask. Although frankly I'm terrified of what her answer would be!!

I'll do it!

jbrownsjr 08-04-2004 12:34 PM

I did it!!!

ThePenguin 08-04-2004 01:16 PM

Oh my God.

You little...!!

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. But thanks, I guess. Now the pressure's off me LOL.

oh my god if she says she hates it or wonders where i get off writing about her life...i will curl up and die. But hey, maybe she will be flattered. Now i begin the agonizing wait to see if she will actually answer that.

Christine McVie,

I want to thank you for sharing your music and voice with the world. You are a beautiful person and one solid musician! I actually became a little obsessed with your new album and I had to put it down for a while! I adore "In the Meantime" To Dan: The guitar on "You Are" is stunning. You're as gifted as your aunt! I play piano and wish I had an Aunt Christine to call me and ask me to record an album with her! ha ha

My question is,

Have you ever visited the Penguin website and read the essay that was written about the McVie's? It's quite comprehensive and deserves a read.

Hey, that's great!

Lis, I'm betting she'd be flattered. :)

Yeesh I hope so. Just the fact that she might read it boggles my mind... but to have her comment on it would truly be surreal!

I know this sounds crazy, but I'm TRULY nervous at the thought of having her read and answer a question of mine. I think I'm too afraid to even ask her one.
I'm know this makes me sound like a wuss.......I could ask the other 4 anything, and be fine with it.
