Imagine my surprise when I saw the new GuitarPlayer magazine with a cool picture of Lindsey on the cover...I'm gonna go read the LONG interview now...Brian J.

I wished my H.P. scanner didn't breakdown or I would scan the cover shot & the picture of Lindsey sitting from the main page of the article/interview...Brian "Needs a new scanner...=( " J.

Damn..i think my subscription just ran out too,lol...My uncle got it for me like a year ago...maybe i will get one more issue though,lol..it would figure it would run out right before the Lindsey cover:rolleyes:

ps-There's 2 new pctures of Linds that look cool (Ya ladies will love the cover shot...) & a couple that I havent ever seen before...Especially one of Stevie & Linds from the Tusk tour in a rather odd pose on stage!!!! Wished my scanner worked...=(

I really dont know if it's in the store yet, I received mine because of a subscription...Really cool picture on the cover though and its from some new photo sessions for the album...lol...Brian J.

The "odd" pose has Lindsey with his eyes closed and arms stretched out in front of him (Think Frankenstein monster) and his lips in a "Billy Idol" looking clasp sharing a microphone with Stevie (In her "Sara" clothing...) leaning at the same microphone with her arms stretched out behind her (Like she's flying...)

ps-I always saw GP at Hastings Entertainment stores...Kinda funny when we got home from grocery shopping I was complaining to Debbie about the fact no music arrived in the mail today...Didnt pay attention to the GP until I saw Lindsey on the cover...Then I was like "Hehehe...I wonder who else knows about this..."...lol!!!!

Im not sure its out in the stores yet, Usually I receive my copy about 1-3 weeks before the stores usually do (But that could have changed...)

Just look for the GuitarPlayer with a bright blue background with Lindsey in a black leather jacket holding his Model I at his side...

Deep thanks for the typing of that article, Brian. It was an interesting reading.

I still have issues with Lindsey discussing Christine's departure (always refering to it as a good thing for the band), but I know I'm probably making a wrong interpretation of his words, and that what he wants to say is that the band will carry on in an even better way than before, because of the new chemistry that exists. The way the comments are made, though, are still a little vague to me, to say the least.

That guitar technique stuff is FASCINATING. I'm gonna ask my guitar expert brother to break it all down for me :D It just convinces me even more that he's a musical genius, playing so well just by figuring it out by ear!
I found it so unbelievably sad (though not surprising) that GOS was basically shelved after The Dance because of corporate BS. :distress:
I still expect a GOS album though....I still say better late than never and there is so much left over good stuff for it (as discussed in Lindsey's forum).
I'm really surprised Lindsey hasn't embraced new recording technology...you'd think he would. But I'll accept any excuse for him taking so gosh darn long to perfect a song.
Th bio part is well-written, nice and brief.
VERY interesting about how the band chose from his demos which ones worked for the band, though it still boggles my mind that they couldn't find some use for Down On Rodeo and Twist Of Fate!
I'm not bothered by what he (and Stevie) say about Christine. They really do have to look forward and be optimistic about the future. I think it's clear they miss her.

Yes, I also think it's clear, but I wouldn't mind them talking in a slightly different way. I know it's quite obvious that their state of mind is one of "we miss her but still we'll go on with our thing", but they haven't expressed it clearly enough lately. Yes, I am being too paranoid. But then again I love the fact that Fleetwood Mac are working on their thing together again, and Christine is working on his solo album again... the issue is over, Christine is no longer part of Fleetwood Mac and I agree, let's be optimistic about the future of both of them. You're right. :)
