I'm STILL waiting for a Nor Cal show. I find it hard to believe that they aren't doing a Nor Cal or LA area show. :(

I don't think it's selling very well, so sadly, I'd be shocked to see any more dates.

I know the show I'm seeing in Raleigh is about half empty right now unfortunately.

Idk how to check lawn seat sales, but yeah, in Nashville, there were still plenty of decent seats (like 20th row) available, a few days ago.

But on a positive note, mine is half full!

Elliefw 05-15-2017 03:28 AM

I just hope they do a couple of dates in the uk but it seems very unlikely

I think it would sell well, there.

Well this is a new date that was just added in Michigan.

I kept saying the same as you how slow these dates are selling but then I looked at other acts in the same venues and they looked very similar even with closer upcoming dates. Also a more related example and I don't know how accurate, but people keep pointing out how Nicks' recent tour sold really well and even added more dates in the end, while at first all those venues looked half empty. So really aggressive marketing campaign, banners on TM and similar sites and sponsored links on social media are definitely the way to go if judging by Nicks' tour advertising, and I suspect whoever is sponsoring this BM tour might do that as the dates are getting closer.

pattyfan 05-15-2017 12:10 PM

I am pretty sure that a Nor Cal show at a reasonably sized venue would sell out On the IYD tour Stevie played the Mountain Winery in Saratoga. The tickets were I think around $150 and they should out for sure. I'm sure they would too.

LOL half-full is a much better way at looking at it :)

I just don't want them to be embarrassed by low ticket sales. And maybe get another tour of this sort!

ryan4136 05-15-2017 01:23 PM

I bought tickets for Mt Pleasant Thursday (day it was announced) and got 7th row. Today you can still get 13th row.

10 days later you can still pull 15th row tickets.......this is going to be a "quaint" show.

HomerMcvie 05-25-2017 10:24 AM

Groupon just emailed me an offer for Buck Vie "rear pavilion/ lawn" seats for $25.

Which means it's probably not selling well...

That could be, but I got groupon for quite a few shows this year. They are trying to bust into the market.. of... well everything.

ryan4136 05-25-2017 12:07 PM

Not sure how the lawn tickets are selling for the Mt. Pleasant concert, but the reserved seating is not moving much. Floor seats are still selling 15th row, the 2nd highest price section is still selling 3rd row tickets, the 3rd highest price section is selling 2nd row tickets. Yikes.

They're not lowering the high end seats any. They still expect you to shell out $300 or so to sit in the front rows.

Hardcores willing to pay that kind of money will make up the monetary shortfall from the unsold cheaper seats, I think. Now, the unsold seats' effect on the ego... that's another matter.

now, somebody toild me they were looking at other acts their age / price range in the same venues, and Don Henley in same venues was selling about the same seat numbers, except his shows were coming up much sooner so he was really in a worse shape.... never stopped Henley from touring and high prices yet.... i do think his front row prices are higher though. and i don't think it ever hurt his ego from what i've been hearing. ;)

what i don't like is that BuckVie platinums in some venues showed up immediately for a very reasonable prices (Chicago front row was $250 / no fees the first day of presales!) while in others they showed up much later, by which time hardcores may have already paid even high scalper prices so that source of income is now gone. and those prices are all over the place. and the "cheap seats" are not really cheap. ideally there would be a parger sperad between really high end plats and cheap seats. of course, i bought some far away $20 seats (no fees!) for some of the shows becuase i was annoyed by no plats and high scalper prices.

I have two extra tickets to Vegas show.

LB Freakazoid 06-07-2017 02:57 PM

Finally bit the bullet and booked my flight, hotel, car and ticket for Atlanta!
So excited - can't wait!
Now that I've done this, I'm sure they'll announce a Florida date...

It's just waiting around the corner... lol

I feel same way about LA date. I'm going to Denver and LV.

estranged4life 06-08-2017 11:31 AM

Saw on the...

marquee at River Spirit Casino here in Tulsa a date for August 5th for Buckingham McVie.

Isn't Phoenix closer to LA than Denver?

I feel like I'm the only one going to Phoenix. :D

At least we're a bunch going to Vegas.

McLamb 06-08-2017 01:16 PM

In case anyone connected to booking shows reads this.... PLEASE add some shows to Florida! I'd pay for front row seats in the Tampa/Clearwater area!

Heard the new album already on NPR's "First Listen", and have ordered the CD from Amazon.

Do we know if The Wallflowers are opening for all shows? I see them listed with Better than Ezra in Huber Heights for 9 August, the day after the Buckvie show. Coincidence or will they open on the 8th & stick around? On the Live Nation site I see Wallflowers as guest for some shows.

(I'm trying to anticipate start times & see if I can work out a way to get to the show on the 9th).

http://www.rosemusiccenter.com/event...vent-list.html

ETA: I think I've answered my own question in that it looks like Wallflowers doing their own gigs, too, as their tix are already on sale for Huber.
