Love all these screen shots. Lindsey looks so happy as if years have been peeled off his face. He looks like a giddy little boy.

Beautiful Pictures! This is one of my favorites of the London pictures. I don't really know where it came from. I was just saving them as they came in, a great picture of Chris and John especially.

I certainly hope that I see more of it!

I do too. There's a certain magic. I was reading an article with a Carradine ( David Carradine I think) and he said that when he and his two brothers were together, the three of them take on a power and confidence that they don't have alone. He said when they enter a bar as a trio, they could beat up anyone, everyone in the room when they were together.

And Stevie made a similar comment about the energy they attract when it's the five of them. It's a palpable thing. Truly.

The years have been verrrrry good to Christine. I still can't believe she's 70! Talk about graceful aging :nod: Great pics though! Awesome captures.

Interesting expressions on everyone's faces on that one!

She seems quite happy and playful to me.

There's a perfunctory lets-get-this-over-with smile, but then there's a genuine smile where your eyes twinkle too and, here, her eyes are twinkling.

Yeah, I totally agree with that. But I think what gets me more is that there is so much history between the five of them. Takes you back to certain times in your life that you love to revisit. Like a song or songs that you associate with special moments.

Ha. Well ... I was just thinking she looked more busty in that sweater than she has in some of the other tops we've seen her in recently.

the difference in expression between Mick's face and Lindsey's face in photo 6 is very interesting..

Mick: I'm so ****ing happy she's back! She deserves every second of that applause.

He really needs to get over himself. Everyone else on the band has seemed to bury the hatchet and mature while he still holds on to grudges and cling to the past. Yesterdays Gone dude, don't look back. (Yes, pun very much intended)

Even a millisecond with Christine is refreshing!

The video tells a fuller story than the screen caps. At the show, from my perspective, Lindsey was upset because Christine was isolated from the rest of the band that first night. He wanted it to be more of a group reunion and tried to get in on the hug, but was kind of segregated from them, before and after she performed and he looked as if he felt left out of the embrace. When she first came out and was hugging Stevie, he walked over and tried to get her attention, she didn't hear him initially. After Don't Stop she and Stevie were over to the side of the stage and he tried to wave her over. Then, after their group bow, he blew kisses at her, but she couldn't see him, because she was turned to John.

The expression on his face in that particular photo is, I think, him wanting Stevie and Christine to come center stage. In the video, you can see him trying to get them to come. He motioned them over and then Mick told them to come over and they did. At that point, once they were all four gathered together, Lindsey was all smiles.

The next night it was much different, because Christine came right out and immediately kissed Stevie, John and Lindsey and Stevie stood back from Christine as well. So, Christine was never isolated on one side of the stage on Friday.

Lindsey makes the money for FM
 

Lindsey, ever the leader of FM is the business leader, wanted to finish the end of the set list and wrap up the performance. There is a whole crew of people supporting the performance on stage and there is a lot of money involved with full cycle of a performance. The lighting, audio and security, clean-up people etc. all are contracted for so many minutes (hours before and hours after the performance) and they get paid for those allotted times. If the performance exceeds the time it cuts into their contract. I believe he was more interested in completing the show within the contracted time period.

Lindsey is the driver and makes the money for FM band, and he stood there looking at the love shared by Stevie and Chris extending and exceeding the time. I'm sure he felt her presence and the audience love for Chris. In the past comments, Lindsey must have felt a bit of ill will about Chris leaving the Band in 98. All of that must have been his mind at that time when he looked into the audience, not so for Mick and Stevie. Mick is NOT the onstage manager of the band and I dare say NOT Stevie.

Love is cold and money does not feel love. Stevie can talk and dance on stage for ever, and not think about what Lindsey must think about. The rehearsing of the band takes its toll at their age. I believe that is why Lindsey looked away and wanted to move on ---- JMHO.

Lindsey seemed more concerned with getting everyone together in the center of the stage than getting the show going, from where I sat (which was in front of Chris' keyboard, so I couldn't always see the right side of the stage). It was only when Stevie and Christine were secluded from the rest of the group that he seemed bothered.
