C'mon be honest

hmm, honestly? i'd say about 30 times, but that doesn't count all imaginary times i played it in my head at work (they don't give us speakers for the computers there. . .and probably with good reason!).

DownOnRodeo 05-06-2004 10:54 PM

A hell of a lot, but not enough!

EnchantedSLN 05-06-2004 11:01 PM

Twice. I don't really like it :(.

But I usually don't like the tracks that are chosen as singles. I still can't wait to hear the rest.

Hawkeye 05-06-2004 11:19 PM

about 12 times.

xdreamsunwindx 05-06-2004 11:33 PM

Once. I had to delete it after I downloaded it because my computer is evil and it was taking up memory -_-. I do like the song, though.

So far I'm up to about 10 - so not yet truly addicted

Gail :wavey:

macfan 57 05-07-2004 06:13 AM

Well, I haven't counted, but, maybe close to 40-50 times. I listen to it constantly while I'm on the Ledge. I think I AM addicted.

ThePenguin 05-07-2004 07:41 AM

I have listened to it about 10-15 times in the last few days. It is growing on me.

Once. And it may stay that way.

I've listened to it about 6 or 7 times. Gets better every listen.

Carne, I was not crazy about it to begin with. Then I listened to it after a single malt sitting (well 2 glasses). I actually hearing some great mixing and engineering on this song.

Cristian 05-07-2004 12:03 PM

About ten, and I like it more with every listen. :)

Song of the moment - Twisted

Well, I have a reputation to uphold. :blob1:

Besides, I don't own either of Christine's solo albums. It's unlikely I'll get this one.

Same happens to me with my girlfriend. A single malt session and suddenly she lookes pretty. :]

O.K. just kidding. But the song still stays lame imo.

Listen to it a few times! I thought it was boring at first and now I love it and it is possibly one of my all time favorite Christine songs. It needs repeated listens.

GypsySorcerer 05-07-2004 09:03 PM

I've listened to hit three or four times. I'm really liking it..... that chorus gets stuck in your head. :D

Mari 05-08-2004 11:10 AM

Maybe three or four times, but I haven't had the time/opportunity since friday. It's constantly in my head though!

Jason T. 05-08-2004 02:07 PM

I've been listening to it non-stop for the past couple of days. It has been feeding my need for new Christine material that I've been deprived of for so long.

macmar71 05-20-2004 05:34 PM

I am going to wait until I have the whole CD, so I have not heard it yet. But I've been tempted, hey, I've waited this long!

jbrownsjr 05-20-2004 05:41 PM

It's worth the wait...... Hold on a month to go!

After 23 years of this question being asked, I must admit that I don't even identify the "You Are" song. That's because I usually listen the whole In the Meantime album. So I didn't pay attention in specific songs, though I do recognize Calumny and Bad Journey. The rest of the songs I enjoy them like the whole package.

I have a similar sense of that album, it’s all of a piece. The songs that I do think of individually are: Friend (acoustic version—the best thing I think she recorded since One in a Million); Forgiveness (it’s just so damn good!); and Givin’ It Back (the most FM song of the 2000s).

God, I miss Christine. So glad to have Slow Down and the demo for One More Night.
