Since the Stevie Nicks Recording A New Album With Dave Stewart Producing In Nashville thread has become massively huge (4th largest in the Stevie section ) and Stevie is not in the recording phase anymore I thought a new thread for all the upcoming press announcements / interviews / photos / snippets / and basically all things "24 Karat Gold related" might be in order...

Great idea. The thread was getting way too long!

I think I may try and locate some of the better items ( pictures / tweets / snippets / etcetera ) from the longer thread and relocate them here if people think it's a good idea...

The snippets would be nice ..I was trying to find the 3rd mystery song one when another Ledgie thought it might be Baby Doll with extra lyrics and gave up trying.

I wonder if the video is being shot in Nashville?

Another post on her FB page says something about casting babies for a video but she offered no place information.

I think it will be more than even odds that The Dealer is going to be the first video and single .It has already been pretty much confirmed that it is the first song on the album and it is also a catchy mid tempo song.

Wouldn't be the first time Stevie had little ones in a video...

So maybe Baby Doll did make the cut.:laugh:

If it is being shot in Nashville you can bet Dave is there since Kaya is there...With any luck Dave will post another snippet...If there is sound should know what the 1st song is...

BlueDenimLamp, thanks for posting! It's been so fun to watch how quickly this album has come together. And I gotta say, there's something particularly exciting about anticipating which demos will make the cut, rather than not knowing anything about the songs before the tracklist/single/album is released.

Kaya is Dave Stewarts daughter...I believe Kaya is the girl that sings the verse from "Annabel Lee" in the IYD Documentary...

With a track-listing like that, I'd very happily eat my words -- but I do believe we're being trolled again.

For some reason, this still seems a tad fishy to me. This tracklisting is almost too good to be true...

I could live with this, especially tracks 3,4 and 5. Seems an odd line up in terms of flow though.

I tend to agree with you here. I'd be extremely happy as well...but it seems like this person has basically read all of our posts, speculations, (which of late have been songs like Have No Heart, Amber, Gypsy Beggars, Joan Of Arc, etc) and is trying to get us all excited in order to set us up for a "letdown" once the real track list has been made known.

I'm officially wiping my hands clean from all of these wiki and facebook people who are hiding in the shadows.

This tracklist is great...but I'm not getting excited about anything until something official crops up. Hopefully that will be very soon.

I don't buy this.

...PLUS, I find it extremely hard to believe that a song as groovy as "Watch Devil" would be relegated to being a "bonus track". Just my opinion, though. :shrug:

I don't buy Amber at all.

That tweet probably means we are getting all the Rhiannon songs, plus China Doll, Baby Doll, Love you Enough and See the World Go By

As hard as it may be I think everyone just needs to be patient...August 5th is only a few days away and if "Camp Stevie" keeps their word we will have quite a bit of info then...
