UK success of In My World
So I'm not sure as to how well the single is doing elsewhere but here in the U.K. it seems to have taken off somewhat. Just thought I'd share some stats:
- Currently #81 on iTunes Top 100 Songs (quite an achievement considering the age of people who buy from iTunes) - Currently #1 on iTunes Top Rock Songs (Has been for around a week now) - #30 on UK Airplay Chart - Was Record of the Week on BBC Radio 2 (Largest radio station in the U.K.) - Currently #14 on Spotify U.K. Viral Chart - Remains on BBC Radio 2's A list so gets regular airplay. |

It is being played a lot on Radio 2, which as James says is the largest and therefore most listened to radio station in The UK.
It's getting a lot of air play and a lot of people hearing it. Even if you are not a big fan, the song is very catchy and you find yourself singing along with it ..... |

Now here's hoping the rest of the album kicks some serious butt. |

In the end, I have a feeling it will be what precisely what the reviewers are saying it is: a very good collection of pop songcraft. |

It's all over BBC Radio 2 - just heard it on Steve Wright (big DJ over here) who said, 'I love that guitar riff - that slightly off guitar'.
Me too, Steve! |

Btw, In My World is currently at #59 on the the U.K. iTunes Top 100 chart! That's incredible! It's so amazing seeing it outselling chart rubbish that is bought by youngsters.
This is so unexpected! Depending on the competition, I wouldn't be surprised if the album reaches top 5 here, maybe higher. The attention the single is getting can only mean great things for the album. |

It's now #48 in the UK I tunes chart. Would be great if it goes into the top 40.

In My World has just squeezed into the UK Top 100 Singles Sales chart this week at #99! It also reaches #90 on the UK Top 100 Downloads chart. What an achievement!
Bear in mind that this is sales and not the regular singles chart that includes streams because let's face it, it's all the younger acts that appear on there. Anyway, great news! |
James can tell us if this is a legit site / itunes UK list or not, but both IMW and The Chain (at #68) are here -
http://www.itunescharts.net/uk/chart...medium=twitter
Winners & Losers - Highest new entry #49 Imagine Dragons - Whatever It Takes Biggest climber (up 35 places) #52 Lindsey Buckingham & Christine McVie - In My World Biggest faller (down 18 places) #71 Billy Ocean - Red Light Spells Danger |
It's true. Currently, In My World is at #56 which is incredible seeing as it's been out a few weeks now and yet people are still loving it, and The Chain is at #70. It has been higher all week because of GOTG2. It actually re-entered the UK Top 100 singles chart last week (which includes streams) at #88 which is a real achievement!

In My World re-enters the UK Top 100 Singles Sales chart at #86. This is due to the fact that it remains on BBC Radio 2's A list and clearly people really like it!
