The recorded version is one of the few FM songs I hate and skip whenever I listen to Tusk. But I hate Gold Dust Woman, too, and a lot of folks like that one.

that and other Tusk tour versions are punkier than Mirage , but not as tight as 2013 two-minute version -

also for good measure, Tusk tour rehearsals :D

I think it's just the way the video is edited, but I love how prominent the piano is in the video that I posted from 1980. I think it's actually the same one from Tusk Deluxe, but you can't hear the piano as much on that one.

If they play NTF, I want the long version.

Macfan4life 09-13-2017 09:19 AM

I hated Not That Funny on the Dance tour. I was like...please can we stop replaying the same Mac setlists over and over. For God's sake they did not even play little lies on the Dance. I was like... give it up Lindsey...what is your fascination with this song.
The only reason I would love to see it if Christine played the upright piano again. I love the Mirage video with her singing and playing along. That ain't going to happen so please don't play it. I will shoot myself if he plays Big Love one more time.

Growing up on the Mirage video, the ONE concession I had to make to all my friends, making them watch it daily was that WE ALWAYS SKIP NTF! All that screaming.... It's f*cking stupid! I too have never understood his undying love for it. Give it up, Lindsey! It's the worst song on Tusk!

If he plays Big Love acoustic again, feel free to shoot me along with you!

I saw them in 2013 at MSG. I have never liked NTF --- live or on the actual album. Probably my least favorite Lindsey.

I must be in the minority here, but I think
Not That Funny is better than most any
song he's done since Out Of The Cradle.

I double dog dare them to open the new tour
with that song. It's more likely that Yukon and
I find that peppermint mine we've been searching
for since 1964 than for that to happen.

I tend to notice that you are always in the minority here
I think you like to troll everyone with your OUTRAGEOUS opinions ;)

(Just teasing)

I have no idea what you just said here.

Rusty says they play BuckVie, SYW, and B/N tunes.

Macfan4life,
I prefer to be called a contrarian over the "t" word.
At least we can agree to agree that I'm always in the
minority. But I'm almost always right.

FuzzyPlum,
Chatting Breeze - I had to look that up.

Don't go pretending you don't know about Yukon
and my adventures. Though you're probably more
familiar with the silver and gold stories. When we
get closer to Christmas I'll reveal more.

jbrownsjr,
If Rusty says it, I believe it.

Ask Rusty why BuckVie isn't going to UK. Or, if they are still considering it.

I'd like for them to have 8 to 10 extra songs down pat, and mix up the set list just a little bit each night. Each crowd gets to walk away knowing they saw a unique, one-time set. I love seeing bands (e.g. Wilco) that do this. But I respect that FMac are getting older and older, and it is a blessing they're all healthy enough to tour at all (knock wood that'd still be the case next year)

I'd like to see more songs that feature a combo of Lindsey/Christine/Stevie, and fewer that are like a 4 minute "solo act" (e.g., really don't need to see Stand Back again on a Fleetwood Mac set list... ditto for Acoustic Big Love). Choices here could be things like Honey Hi (from Tusk), Crystal, World Turning, and their gorgeous cover of Farmer's Daughter (Beach Boys)...
