In all of the online Super Bowl Commercial Polls....Landslide is leading by a landslide in all of them...:]

Very beautiful.I agree .I always cry when Stevie sings LS live at her shows including the FM shows.
I don't understand why there is so much hate on here about this song:shrug:. Heres the video . |
Landslide has just been overplayed, IMO, on the concerts. Can't miss something that never leaves. And I have seen performances of it that were just phoned in.
But, when it's NOT phoned in--it's beautiful. And, in this context, it was meaningful and just lovely. I think Stevie is very smart to do this. It does catch your attention and I bet she just got some new, young fans to add to her cross-generational gypsies. |
It's funny, I went to see Les Miserables and I didn't know anything about the Superbowl commercials -- or the blackout either.
So, when I got home and on twitter everyone was making black out jokes and they were also saying "God made a farmer" and they were joking about the man and his horse, so I knew that those two must have been the most popular commercials just due to the twitter response. Michele |
Never get tired of landslide ,ever!

Budweiser just put up the extended version on fb and then put a link to the song to buy on itunes. I wonder if Landslide will chart on the Hot 100 next week?

BUDWEISER, “LANDSLIDE”
While Stevie Nicks croons in the background, we see one of Budweiser’s trademark Clydesdales grow from foal to adult horse, then eventually reunite with the farmer who raised him. Not exactly sure how Bud gets us to feel all sentimental about a horse, but they do it almost every year. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/b...ercials-020313 |

Having been a fan during the great Landslide drought of 1983 - 1989, when I thought we would never hear this song performed live again, I appreciate hearing it live now, and I'm also always so impressed with how well she sings it. |
Such a lovely commercial. "Landslide" and horsie, just perfect.
