I'm open to both. Two for the price of one would have been awesome. Who would open?

I'd guess because there was nothing in it for him. He's all about the meet and greets, because he gets to charge you for saying hi.:lol::lol::mad::mad:

He's also a human being, not just a public persona... Surely entitled to some alone time and anonymity once in a while.

I seriously doubt he has ever wanted anonymity. He and Stevie both crave the attention.

Normally I would completely agree if it wasn't for the fact that he charges people a billion dollars for his meet and greets. I like Mick just as much as anyone but he will not lift a pinky if he can't make money off it.

Amen! Preach it! He's a ho!

Yeah.. like ChiliD astutely pointed out once he is the Daffy Duck of rock.

It's quite amazing that an average drummer has bilked many millions of people out of their hard earned cash. LOST IT ALL, MORE THAN ONCE, and continues his...bilkage! Perhaps more amazing is that we keep falling for it!

The man surely knows whose Caddy trailer hitch, to hook his rusty old sled to. #prohookertipsbymick:lol:

I've met him once, and he was very gracious.
I met him December 28, 1999, at a Stevie solo show at the House of Blues in Hollywood, California.
He was seated, in a roped-off area, before the show, and I stepped right over the ropes and walked up to him as security watched. LOL.
I shook his hand and told him he was my fave drummer, and he thanked me, and I said "Enjoy the show," and walked away.
Later, after the concert, my friend that attended the show with me, somehow managed to talk her way back-stage, and as I stood out-side the back-stage doors waiting, Mick walked right up to me, and shook my hand again and asked me my name and we talked a few minutes about how great the concert was.
He was very nice. Very much a gentleman.
After a few minutes, he excused himself and walked back-stage. I was bummed he didn't invite me! LOL.
When my friend finally came out, she said she saw Sharon and a few band members, but security was tight and couldn't see Stevie.
We heard some screaming and saw Stevie being escorted to her limo, and I screamed her name and she turned and smiled at us and waved.
That was quite a fun evening!
I also remember standing in line before the show, her brother, Christopher walked by us and talked to fans in line. Most of the questions people asked him were regarding "Trouble in Shangri-la," asking when it was finally being released, would any songs be performed at the concert, etc. He was pretty tight-lipped about it and said it was almost finished, and no, he didn't think she'd perform any of the new songs before it was released.
One other interesting part of that evening was, the lady that gave Stevie the Snoopy in the famous HBO "Stevie Nicks in concert" video concert was standing next to me in line.
It was such a fun night.
So many of us die-hard fans all talking before the show, waiting to get in.
And the show ROCKED!!!
Concerts at clubs are so intimate and so much fun!
I loved living in Los Angeles in the late 90's and 2000's!

I did note this in Macnuggets too....
She said she was going to sing a cover of one of her favourite bands.

Pretty cool audition..

Phil Lee 05-19-2017 08:50 AM

I just came here to post about Sheryl's cover. I think she does an excellent job as did Brian May on backing vocals :)

TrueFaith77 05-19-2017 10:16 AM

I'm too repulsed to bother checking it out.

Have to disagree just a little...

She was not brilliant and quite flat in parts,
However it was 9:15 in the morning and she was accompanying herself
on acoustic .....LIVE....tho I understand Brian May was also a guest and helped out with backing singing.....

She was okay doing a cover of one of her "favourite bands".

Why was Sheryl Crow there instead of Lindsey? My two guitar Gods would have met and I would literally have died! :blob1::blob1::woohoo:

Brian is so sweet! :)

Brian is very sweet, you're right......I don't think he performed but I
didn't hear all of the show.

Sheryl must be over here promoting her latest Album as she was on Graham Norton to show later in the day.

Dry your eyes now....

jcalzaretta 05-20-2017 08:29 AM

Sheryl would not be a good fit.

She was doing a whistle stop promo tour for her new album. She was on Graham Norton on Friday night (recorded on Thursday), played the Shepherds Bush Empire on Friday night then came up here to Manchester to play at the Albert Hall.

I went to that show. Sheryl and her band were excellent. This is the 5th time I've seen her live but the first time since 1999. She has so much energy and can still hit all the high notes.
