Welcome to the Southeast Portland entertainment guide, where normally we would urge you head to the Aladdin Theater tonight to see Lindsey Buckingham.

But that show is sold out. So you’ll have to settle for a BoDeans show on Tuesday and Loudon Wainwright III on Wednesday. Check out those shows and you won’t feel so bad about missing what’s-his-name.

^ Saw that day of show... thought it was funny. But IMO, seems they are raving about LB, then semi-dissing him saying "whatshisname." Bi-polar Oregon for ya.

LOL. yeah, I thought the same, but then, thought, no, the writer's just in on the joke :shrug: Like he's dissing how people are about not knowing Lindsey.

I can't believe no one's posted Stephanie from the Fillmore yet...

also still hoped he might add a few southern dates... :(

I enjoy taking her places that will impress her like taking her out to see Lindsay Buckingham at the Wiltern.We drank John Jamesons, our favorite whiskey, and waited for Lindsay to play his hits like “Not That Funny” and “Tusk.” Instead he played his new song “Poor Little Raven.” The crowd was enchanted while we whispered in each other’s ears about how poor we felt for listening to “The Raven.”

We left our seats and snuck down to the floor level where we were an arm grab away from the Raven himself. After the show we stumbled into a Korean Karaoke bar where we rented a room and sang for as long as Lindsay played singing drunken duets of Death Cab for Cutie’s “I’ll Follow you into the Dark” and “Can’t Stop” by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

I was hoping he would add another OH date. I'm not going to be able to make it to Columbus. C'mon Lindsey, play the Palace again!

It's down to just the voice and the guitar, both immediately recognizable to fans of the legendary Lindsey Buckingham, a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer as a member of the Grammy-winning Fleetwood Mac. His solo tour is stopping at B.B. King's Club and Grill.

TELL ME MORE: In earlier shows on this tour, Buckingham's lengthy guitar solos have brought the intimate crowd to its feet repeatedly. He'll give the people some fan favorite Fleetwood Mac tracks, as well as past solo work and most of his most recent album "Seeds We Sow," which came out in September. He wrote, produced and mixed all 11 songs on the self-released album.
