It was good but there is nothing like the original.

I thought it was really good and I don't often like covers. They did a good job.

First “Guardians Of The Galaxy 2” trailer is out

Marvel earlier showed off two pieces of footage at the San Diego Comic-Con: the first was an extended prison break scene with Yondu (Michael Rooker), Rocket and Baby Groot. That sequence is hinted at here, when Yondu and Rocket are walking across a platform and bodies are falling out of the sky around them.

The second, however, was essentially a long trailer, set to Fleetwood Mac's “The Chain” that really set the tone and the mood for the film.

Either way, Marvel is prepping “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” for a May 5, 2017 release date.

the only one that beats it is Lindsey with Little Big Town - both versions are amazing, but LB/ LBT version has Lindsey's amazing guitar solo on top of fantastic harmonies.

I do agree...Bones/The Chain is epic!

It needs more testosterone.

nah. Highwomen are great! as long as they leave their Stevie mentions behind. had a pleasure of seeing Sheryl live this summer and joining in the boos after her saying "Stevie, you know - she is great, right?"

It’s well-executed, even pretty, but unexceptional. It doesn’t haunt me or make me shiver—and that’s the FM version standard.

sleepless child 08-12-2019 07:53 AM

I keep wanting to say Highway women. LOL!

I couldn't agree more. It's un-moving.

Agreed. The vocals and harmonies are great. But it needs a driving base line and the hard hitting guitar of LB. Acoustic guitars and violin don't cut it.

There was a segment on Stern today about this performance last week. The fan mail was overwhelming how good the performance was.
They are a country band so you cant compare it to the Mac's version. I like the violin twist in the song.

What I wish I could post was the group's parody about the Stern show made from The Chain. Now that was fall out of your chair funny. Hope someone posts it to youtube.

Yeah, seemed okay until the bass part started. From there on out it was....something. That guitar solo was

HomerMcvie 06-24-2020 10:13 AM

Makes me have a new appreciation of why Lindsey always hated playing slide. That solo was awful!!!
