I think if time was unlimited it’s possible. But time is not on their side. Lindsey almost died a few years ago. The door isn’t shut but it’s closing fast. And what would be their premise anyway?

This is sort of funny. Since the 1980s it has been said over and over that "someday" Buckingham Nicks will be re-issued and re-released.
50 years have come and gone and we are still saying "someday it will happen."

I say it will happen with Behind The Mask gets a full re-issue with bonus tracks :lol:

I never had a BN CD, but I do have the whole album in mp3 files, 256 kbps, very decent sound. How did I get it? I don't remember but very likely some ledgie shared it.

But don't remember if somebody shared the concert, and never saw the CD. Probably is the Birmingham last concert. According to Mick's first book:

Twice in the previous year Buckingham Nicks had opened shows there; the local radio played their album, which enjoyed strong local sales. So they flew off to Alabama with three other players and discovered that Buckingham Nicks had sold out a six-thousand-seat hall! And the audience went nuts when they came out. Their minds were completely boggled. Unknown in L.A., unable even to get a cheap gig somewhere, they were heroes in Birmingham. They played several dates of this great Buckingham Nicks Farewell Tour. At the last show, Lindsey announced that they were joining Fleetwood Mac, and the audience could only gape, silently. What, Lindsey Buckingham wondered, were they getting themselves into?

Even though Rhiannon wasn’t actually recorded until after they joined FM, they did perform it live as a duo before they joined; I like the much simpler arrangement with a much shorter run time that is on the Buckingham Nicks Live CD.

Never Going Back Again was played as an instrumental- unfortunately, the way Lindsey performs it live now, I really couldn’t stand to hear it. It has become a caricature of a performance. If he were to sing it as he originally recorded it, then it would be a very welcome addition to the setlist.

I know some folks say they wouldn’t see them if they did a Buckingham Nicks tour, but I totally would. IF it were in a much smaller venue and if they had a small band with them. I’d even accept the backup singers.

You know... Stevie loves doing shows where only 1500 people show up. She's known for being humble and down to Earth.

Backstage at a small theater she and Lindsey will have tea and brush each other's hair, and just talk ole times before their set. :wavey:

And to top it off, Stevie and Lindsey can share an impromptu hug on stage! :]

What's amazing is that from 2005 to 2012 she would play at some venues where the lawn would be closed off or casino ballrooms where the back sections were empty. But then American Horror Story and Harry Styles came along!
