'In The Meantime' had sold 19,944 copies by February of this year ('Something Big' had sold 3,000 copies).

It's meant to be a wake up call, to her very egocentric self. To compare yourself with, one who is considered one of the greatest songwriters of the 20th century, on public television, is ludicrous, and delusional, IMO. Trust me, the general, non Ledgie public, does NOT consider her one of the great songwriters of all time.
