I'm literally LMFAO!!!
Back in the days of VHS, I would rent a porno tape, about once a year, and copy it. The two things I would edit out of my copy? Scenes with anteaters, and Ron Jeremy. Because both of those things make me want to vomit. Isn't funny how seeing a cut one, doesn't make me want to throw up, but an uncut one, literally makes me CRINGE at the sight.
I'm an American, and dammit, it's just wrong!

Nothing more awkward than finding your mother's Playboy photos in the garage at 10 years old. She didn't sign off on them at the last minute because she had a moral crisis but the pictures still exist, her laying naked next to the Playboy Mansion pool

Louie and I were just having the circumcision conversation the other day because we weren't sure if someone I was involved with at the time (F*CK MEN, I F*CKING HATE ALL OF YOU) would be cut or not.

I'm kinda curious. I wanna be with one just to have the experience and no longer have uncut penis fear the rest of my life.

Dani, since you have already put in your V card, can you tell me the difference between doing a guy with and without the choppy done?

I wouldn't know-- I've only been with circumcised guys. But I REALLY want to know. I have this weird fascination with it, especially since I love my foreigners and lots of them are uncut.

Yeah, she's hot ****. It's actually really hard to be her daughter because I'm constantly comparing myself to her.

TMI: I miss sexytime. I have not had legitimate sexytime since before I left for Seattle in September. WTF.

I have never met anyone else who had it done later in life, so I would like to know more about your experience. That way, I'll know what to expect.

It was inexplicably horrible. For one thing, I really had no idea what I was going in for. I figured it would just be like going to the barber- just take a little bit off the top and the sides. I had no idea that I would end up in the maternity ward. My last memory before going under general anesthesia was looking over and seeing these knocked out women with their huge baby bumps around me. Weird!

I woke up with intense pain. Intense. And it was just a big bloodied pulp down there with nothing but a perfunctorily placed strip of gauze tied around the end, which had already blackened and hardened from all of the bleeding. But as bad as all of that was, I think the worst part of the whole experience was being 8/9 years old and constantly having these strange people at the hospital checking on my junk. So embarassing!

To this day I really have no idea why my parents had me go through with this. First of all, it was NOT medically necessary. I have fond memories of my intact boy parts. And it's not like I had health insurance back then (I nearly died from food poisoning but the parents were too cheap to take me to the emergency room... but that's another story for another time), so they were definitely paying for all of this out of pocket. One theory is that my father started reading this King James bible that had been lying around the house (I don't know how it got in the house to start with), which is all fine and dandy, whatever. But the problem is that English was not his first language. So I figure he must've read all of that spooky sh** in the Old Testament about boys having to be circumcised in order to enter the kingdom of heaven, blah blah blah. And being that my parents are not the brightest bulbs in the bunch, I think they interpreted this literally as, "OMG, if he doesn't get snipped, he's going straight to HELL!" The other theory is that we all went to this old Korean doctor that I despised with a passion. Even as a kid I knew he was utterly incompetent. And he struck me as the kind of doctor who would parrot anything he read, just because I didn't think he possessed the critical thinking skills to draw his own conclusions. So surely he must have read some poorly researched article about circumcision and then tried to act like he was saving my life by compelling my parents to force me into it. Either way, it sucks. It just plain sucks. More than any physical pain, I am just so pissed off that this kind of ignorant misinformation has led directly to my mutilation.

I am curious... why does your son's doctor feel that circumcision is warranted? I can assure you that it's not. The U.S. is like the only country that does this sort of thing routinely, and it's not like the U.S. has the longest life expectancy or the highest quality of life.

I have a friend, who's 18, and uncircumcised. He wishes that he was, but is terrified, of how much it must hurt, and for how long.

Even though it's becoming a dated practice, I would like to say, "thank you, Mom and Dad, for mutilating your son's penis". Really. I'm so glad I'm circumcised.:woohoo:
T.M.I.

Well, as a kid I was not allowed to take showers, only baths (crazy, crazy parents). So dunking this newly exposed flesh (which is full of nerve endings, by the way) into even lukewarm water was enough to make me scream in agony. At first I assumed it would go away as everything healed up. But that raw soreness was there every time I showered... well into adulthood. Oh, and even more TMI... it was so bad that I really could not stand to, um, receive "oral gratitude" until I was well past 30 . The coarse texture of the tongue felt like sandpaper. And if a tooth accidentally got in the way... yowza! The only way I could endure it was if the "gratifier" was able to, um... swallow the sword. To this day it is still not something I particularly enjoy.

Nikolaj 12-11-2010 12:24 AM

^ I am so sorry you had to endure that.

I had been circumcized as an infant, but had to have surgery on my junk when I was 4 years old. I remember it well. The opening or 'slit' to pee was not long enough, and I recall being in horrible pain when I had to pee. I also recall being unable to tell my parents about it. It (the pain) happened one night when we were at a relatives house, I was crying and in a lot of pain and wouldn't come out of the bathroom until my father yelled so loudly at me that I opened the door and left the bathroom. I had to urinate, but was unable. At the front door of her house, I couldn't keep myself from crying, and I was able to tell my aunt what was hurting, though my Mom and Dad were there, it was my aunt who I told. She crouched down to me, and I told her as softly as I could, while my parents were standing right there. This secret I couldn't tell my parents, Aunt Dorushka would help. She comforted me, said something to my parents, and I was brought to the hospital, it was night. The next day I was still in the hospital, and had surgery. The incision was made longer, and no pain after. While in the hospital, my mother brought me a talking Bugs Bunny puppet that I'd pull a chord and 'Bugs' would say a few different things. "Let's take it ee-zeee" is one phrase I recall in the Bugs voice when I pulled the string. I don't remember my Dad being there until he came to drive my mother and I home. A day or so later.
The stitches were a kind that didn't need to removed, and fell out maybe two weeks later. I'm still unsure if it was a botched circumcision that caused that defect of being unable to urinate. Does anyone know if that could cause it?
I do remember that I didn't want to tell my parents because I thought they would just argue about it and it was just pain I had to put up with, but I couldn't stand for them to just yell about it- at each other- and still be in the pain. But I felt that my Aunt would help me and she'd make sure my Mom and Dad got help for me. That's most unpleasant to recall, maybe even more than the physical pain. I thought "I just have to accept this, and I can't tell Mom and Dad." I was four years old.

I can't imagine any of that had to do with circumcision; it sounds like one of those freaky congenital things. But it really is telling that you could not bring yourself to tell your parents about it at the age of 4. Have you discussed this with your therapist?

Thanks; Hejira, for the reply. Actually, I hadn't thought about it in many, many years. It was buried. I don't think I've thought of it once in the past 20 years, or longer. I read your account of what happened at age 9, and it made me remember that night in my aunt's bathroom, though your experience sounds much worse than mine. I didn't have years of pain. It all sounds horrible for you.
How I wish now that I remembered, my aunt died a few years ago. She would have been perfect to talk about it with.
Maybe I will mention it to my shrink. I'm relieved that the problem I had was unrelated to the circumcision, for reasons too unknown (just speculative) to go into. Thanks for responding, Hejira :) I always like to hear from you.
Aperfectlie, are your studies you once mentioned to become a doctor? You seem to have the makings, based on the meticulous details of diabetes you have taught yourself- I know you have the disease, but still, you seem needed as a medical professional. Many people have diseases or issues and don't have the ability to know all the ins and outs like you do, myself included. No, not diabetic, yet.
You're at university, still, correct?

There are several reasons why people chose to circumcise:

1) Cultural: People in the US typically chose to do it simply because it's common and they don't want their children to stick out.

2) Religious: Like HejiraNYC pointed out, the Old Testamant of the Bible insists on circumcision. Judaism is famous for this as well.

3) Cleanliness: Circumcised penises are easier to keep clean. Uncircumcised ones are known to develop and collect a cheesy substance called smegma. It's just as precious as the name sounds.

4) Health: Here's where we run into debate. The World Health Organization believes it reduces the risk of HIV contraction from straight females to straight males. Circumcision also is believed to reduce other health risks like Urinary Tract Infections.

I'd say more than any other reason these days, kids are circumcised for Cultural reasons. The are people who feel very strongly about this subject for sure. There is a growing movement in the US which feels it's a barbaric, outdated practice. Personally I like being circumcised, and prefer my partners to be as well. But to each their own. :wavey:

If you keep on reading various Bibles, you will see 'to be circumcized or to be uncircumcized makes no difference"-- it's all throughout my King James New Testament.
