...have I ever told you that you are a goddess?

Even the crappy quality version of that SS piano demo is breathtaking, though-- it takes "Silver Springs", a song totally derived from anger, and makes it totally.... helpless. Pleading. And a little threatening.

God, I love Stevie.

I've loved them since I was 2 years old (literally-- "Don't Stop" was the first song I ever tried to sing along to, says my mother) and 15 years later, I am still often smacked in the face with how phenomenal they are. It surprises me every day.

I'm a newbie here but I just had to say thank you. this is the most amazing version of SS I have ever heard. Even if it is not the best quality I think I will be listening to this all day. Brenda

I am SO SO glad that you like it. I have been in love with it for such a long time... I am so happy to find it here. Thank you!

You are magical.

Another demo I've been searching for that I lost--

Acapella "Gold & Braid"? That's definitely another one of my favorites.

These are some of my favorites from the old reels.

All the King's Horses (with Moncrieff on bass?)

Bella Donna (with Benmont on piano)

Destiny (no lead vocal)

Wish we had super-clear of "Jimmy, Come On Back" & "The Crystal"

I have almost everything back that I lost... such a good feeling.

Thank you so much for these, I just loved the Master of "All The Kings Horses". I hate to ask because everyone has already been so generous, but would anyone happen to have any of the Masters of "Sanctuary". "Sanctuary" is my favorite Stevie demo (other than "Dreams" and "Silver Springs" it's my favorite Stevie song actually) and I would just love have to have a good quality version of it. It would mean so much to me if you have it. Thank you so much if you do.

not Stevie or FM, but a great live cover of Gold Dust Woman by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. She trades vocals with Warren Haynes of Gov't Mule and it's pretty kick ass. http://www.zshare.net/audio/6194855109df2709/

I was asking around for these but no one seemed to know where to find them.... so now that Pat has lovingly passed them to me, I'll share them here for anyone who hasn't heard them!
