Who else caught Stevie doing "Rooms on Fire", last night? Didn't she look great in that red dress and pillbox hat! She didn't look like she was enjoying herself though, guess she was concentrating too hard on the miming thing to worry about moving. Still..... nice little flashback .

thanks for the warning! this show's reruns are fridays at 16:15 CET, saturdays at 23:30 and sundays at 17:00 CET, i hope they air that same show at these times.

Yep....I saw it! I thought she had a really vacant look in her eyes tho. Was great to see it again

I've definately heard of that show but am not sure it has ever aired in the US. Was Stevie lip syncing ? How un-Stevie!
Anyone have a picture from that show they could post? I'm just curious about the pill box hat. I must say i loved Stevie's costumes around that time....lots of satin gloves with big rings over them, bustiers and different hats!

Is this the performance where there's a bunch of television screens behind her? Because I have a live version of Rooms on Fire on tape, not very good quality, but I've always wondered where it was from. And now that I think about it, I think it was just her and the backup singers...I don't recall seeing a band.

Yes...she was lip synching but then everyone had to on that show back then. I have just the one picture

Thanks for posting that pic, Gypsy Rhiannon! I loved those hats-I don't know that I would call them pill box hats (but then I don't know really what I would call them) She wore those on the Tango Tour, too. She really looks good in that pic I think....I kinda liked the bleached hair in a Hollywood-trash sort of way, too!

Does she not have make up on?! She looks rather different.

In all my videos ( all 70-80 of them) I DO NOT have that! I am so angry now, I want it!

TOTP is a great show, I have tons of ABBA from that, I know Kylie is on that like once a month right?? hehehe. But Id love if they put out a video of best of so I could have ABBA and Stevie and see them all in good quality:)

Actually I'd say she did have quite a bit of makeup on, almost china dollish, certainly very pale looking. Could this have been done in the Klonopin years I wonder? Her two backup singers.. were they Sharon and Mindy perhaps I couldn't see exactly.

TOTP = Top Of The Pops

And yes, this appearance was filmed in "The Klonopin Years," during a tour that Stevie now says she can't even remember. :(
