Band members birthdays

I have to get this off my chest...please excuse me.


Ok, we have the function on top of the board for recognizing birthdays...So...

WHY AREN'T THE BAND MEMBERS BIRTHDAYS SET TO SHOW UP THERE??

I was thinking about this too but I remember back on the 3rd how some joker must have signed up as "Lindsey" and of course this led to some speculation by some ledgies that Lindsey Buckingham was checking out the ledge like we do on a daily basis. :) Anyways, I wasn't sure if some people have signed on as being the same name as the other band members as well or not so this may make it hard to have the same names in twice or something. Well, whoever it is that would answer this, IS this what the problem is on this matter? I would imagine that you need an e mail address to set them up "as ledgies" (in effect) to be able to get it to display the birthdates and since Marty obvioulsy (and understandably) wants to keep things under control in reference to the notation the last time the ledge closed down as to only letting future accounts start if they don't use free e mail addresses (Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.) so if these records were to be set up, naturally we don't have their personal e mail addresses (and even if we did, I would imagine that they couldn't be displayed in the profiles!) and Marty would not want to set up "bogus" records by using "bogus" e mail addresses etc. but who knows?! :)

I agree with ChiliD though that this would be a cool thing to see on here as I think we do have a note of all of their birthdates (except Bob Weston's). :)

The birthday listing at the top of the Ledge is culled from the birthday profile fields of its members. There is no simple listing that I can edit so that the members of FM would have their birthdays displayed. The Ledge does, however, have a calendar feature but adding the dates there would still not display them on the main page.
