Guess what guys??

We've had this house for a year now. Three bedrooms, one is ours, one is Sara's, and one is "The Stevie Room". Unfortunately, I haven't done too much to it for lack of funds. I have my Stevie and Mac Rolling Stone cover mags on the wall, an autographed poster, some artwork and other small stuff. But now I am getting serious about decorating it. We are getting an upright piano and putting in here (cherry wood finish) and, of course, I will buy a shaw and some really cool candles to put on top of it. And I'm going to buy a mic stand and do it up "Stevie style". Besides pictures and posters for the walls, does anyone have some really cool suggestions for this room?? The carpet is light grey (for now) and I am having troubles trying to decide what color to paint it. I'm thinking about going with the color scheme for the TISL album cover.

I'm really open to suggestions and hope someone out there will reply to this!!! I promise to post pics of it when I start getting more of it done!

One set of doors was the color of honey... one set of doors was pink and grey... LOL! Well, there's your answer for the door to the room, and if you have a closet with doors inside the room, that should help too. Actually, those colors would look good together, and with the carpet.

The TISL color scheme is gorgeous. It would look beautiful. And, don't forget, you've got to find your own version of the blue lamp!

tiffany blue lamp in a lamp store here in nj! it was soooooo similar to stevie's and cost a pretty penny too! if i were you, i'd definitely save up for something like that.

hey does anyone in your home play the piano? or is it just for decoration?

I've been in my home for 4 years and have a dedicated Stevie/Mac room. It used to be a girl's room, the walls were already painted pink and I had the whole house recarpeted with silver/gray carpet. When you walk into the room, you nearly trip over all the poster tubes of stuff I've bought on Ebay. I plan to put up a very narrow ledge about 10" below the ceiling, to display all the 45 picture sleeves. Then, I have to figure out which posters to put up on the ceiling (the walls are already mostly covered), which ones to hang in the garage, and which ones to frame. Fun, fun, fun!!

Although most of my massive collection is contained in this room, I do have the hologram in my foyer (so Stevie smiles and greets everyone who comes in) and a lot of my light switch plates are Stevie or FM. I have 2 Bob Masse posters framed and hanging in the living room, the other 2 I want to have framed and matted the same way. I also want the TISL lithograph framed and hung either over my TV or over the fireplace.

It's a neverending process...

Hey Livia, I don't know which 2 Bob Masse posters you don't have but if you are looking for the "stevie & friends" one keep an eye on this ledge. I am gonna be selling mine in a few weeks on ebay.

I may also be selling my signed tambourine for those interested in one for decorating...i have not decided for sure on that one.

I've got all the Bob Masse posters - but 2 of them are still in poster tubes. The ones I already have hanging are the first 2 he did. I paid Michael's around $100-125 apiece to have them matted and framed and I want the other 2 done the same way. I hate to cut up the Wells Fargo one, but I'll have to so they all match.

However, I'm an ebay junkie, so I just may end up with something of yours! LOL

Hi sara,
Bob Masse is a Seattle based artist that designs concert posters. He has done a few posters for stevie and he has a website you can check out here...
http://www.bmasse.com/

Nothing has changes my mind about stevie...I still absolutly adore her and FM. But i have been realizing that in the last 5 years I have spent thousands of dollars trying to get the best posters and memoribilia I can find that only end up hanging on my wall or sitting in my closet and collecting dust. Sure they are nice to look at every once and a while but they don't make me any bigger of a fan for having them and whether I have them or not probably doesn't matter to anyone but myself.

I am selling all of my other music stuff too...just decided that it was all material things that didn't hold a lot of meaning other than being nice to look at and had cost me a lot of money and a quite a bit of grief and guilt. And whether i have them or not will not make me love the artists any less.

I am also selling them because I live in a 10x12 foot room that i live in and i have no more space for all this stuff and I am going to be unemployed again in a two weeks due to economic problems at the radio station so i need to the money to cover my bills and maybe if i make enough off the sales, pay for my first quarter of going back to college. (so please bid high!!!!! heheheh)

Anyhoww...i am working on the pictures of the stuff tonight so i will let you guys know as soon as I have posted them on ebay so start saving your money up!

with what Livia said, "However, I'm an ebay junkie, so I just may end up with something of yours! LOL"...I'm a major league eBay junkie, I've been buying alot of OOP cassette tapes lately, (Just received a GREAT 2 tape set of Paul McCartney & Wings "Wings Over America" for only $6.00!!!), I even found a site that sells Stevie Nicks vinyl LP's in brand new unopened condition...

I'll be keeping an eye open for Roxy's stuff when she puts it on eBay, Definately interested in seeing what she has...Brian
