Hello My Fellow Stevie Ledgies!

With 11 votes, "Gate and Garden" has been voted off. Also, I just had to vent to you guys. I have quit doing the survivor thing on the Rumours board because I just cannot take visiting it anymore. For in case you guys haven't been to it in a while, there is some severe Stevie bashing going on. Check out threads, "Who are the most talented members of Fleetwood Mac" and also "Interesting Numbers". I also posted a long, rambling thread titled "Song Survivor and why I'm Upset!" Visit it and let me know what you think, and while you're there I hope you post a thread as well in support of Stevie. Show them how much we love her!

as far as Stevie goes, sitting in your room high and righting lyrics, well, anyone could come up w/ something interesting.

i would like to point out that i have been a very good girl by not posting in any of those threads! so my friends should be very proud. and believe me, i had to stop reading one thread cause if i read one more bad thing about stevie i was gonna go off! :mad: so i clicked off, turned my back, and flipped through the new edition of LUCKY magazine. I agree with you guys 100%! I read those threads and chose not to respond to them. Everyone has their own opinions on things, but there was no need for all the bashing of any of the members. I have to agree with you Pip.. that line got me a little pissed too.
Anyway, once again I am voting for If Anyone Falls!! I can't believe that Gate and Garden got voted off.. I love that song!!

well, I did respond and hopefully got thru to some true FM fans to rethink the whole anti-Stevie stance, Really, how can you be a full FM fan and negate the whole Stevie contribution? One thing I do know about Stevie fans is that they do not put down fellow FM members and even have become ardent fans of other members while maintaining their loyalty to Stevie...

Dead right! Why does it have to be a competition about who is the best! To me Fleetwood Mac is all about the 5...they compliment each other and it just isn't the same when any of them are missing. I am a Stevie fan thru and thru but I would not even want to bash any of the other members!

Well, as far as the other b.s. goes (meaning the threads on the Rumours forum)...I posted once, just a few minutes ago. Been reading the **** for days, and I guess I couldn't keep my mouth shut any longer, although I usually do refrain from the Stevie bashing threads. I just don't have time for it. Don't think I'm gonna convince anyone to "convert" with my post, though, LOL. IMO, either you "get" Stevie, or you don't. I, for one, am glad that I am able to look "deep" enough to get it.

Unfortunately there are certain people who only seem to contribute to threads like that, make sweeping statements which is simply only their opinion but then the piss people off. I am all for a big discussion but certain people perposely post to bait people and annoy but then claim that was not their intention. Pretty immature, don't ya think!
