Dixie Chicks performed Landslide on the Opry!

I caught the Chicks on the Grand Old Opry tonight, and one of the songs they performed was Landslide! It was a little faster than the Mac usually performs it, and definitely country-fied. I really enjoyed their version! I can't wait to hear how it sounds on the album. :D

Is that on the Country Music Channel??? With digital cable i have like 5 country stations and i never know what the heck is on what...funny thing though..they play the Mac's Dance version of Landslide on VH1 country....

the Dixie Chicks album is scheduled to come out next week, ( Unless it has been pushed back), And from what I hear, "Landslide" will be released as a single...Brian

Im definetely gonna get their album...ive always loved them....plus I think in a way them doing LANDSLIDE gets Fleetwood Mac's name back out there a little...which NEVER HURTS...right

It was on here at 11..i just caught them....i really like that version of Landslide..i like the other song they did too...White Trash Wedding,lol...can't wait to get the new album :)

Brian, it actually comes out August 27th. I've been a fan of the Chicks since the beginning.

Yeah, I figured Landslide would be released, since they did it last night and also during the Divas Las Vegas thing.

It'll be interesting to hear the album, because they've gone more bluegrass than country-pop. They also did a new song on the Opry, called White Trash Wedding. I liked it, but it was sure was a different sound!

the album was due on the 12th, But I'm not surprised it was pushed back a couple of weeks...lol...Brian
