i'm at home flipping through the channels, trying my best to find something to watch. so i'm just clicking away when i stop at vh1 soul to look at videos. well "don't disturb this groove", by the system, came on and i'm like, "oh i love this song" so i'm just singing along. well i've never really paid attention to the video before, just that they were at a hotel somewhere out west. well guess what hotel they were at..................................................the tropicana hotel! so i scream, gasp, and fall to the ground dying. did anyone else ever see this? am i way over my head here? is this THE hotel?!

Is that whole hotel story true?

I don't want to open a can of worms here but I always wondered HOW would Stevie OR Lindsey be a virgin ( " innocence lost" quote from Rolling Stone 10-97) at 22-23 and why would they do it at some hotel when they were pretty much together in LA already before they even did anything?

One of them really needs to write down how it all happened, not like its any of our business but they seem so open about it, it just never seems to fit how, what, why , when ...all that good stuff.

I think the statement from the RS article was intending to convey the change in their relationship - innocence lost to each other, not necessarily that it was a first time ever for either one.

here's it is! thanks michelle!................

"Lindsey Buckingham was born to relative privilege in Palo Alto, Calif., and raised nearby in Atherton. His father, Morris, ran a coffee plant ("Small and slowly not doing so well and eventually went under"); two older brothers were golden, suburban jock types - brother Greg won a silver medal for swimming in the '68 Olympics. Lindsey was a high school junior singing California Dreamin' at somebody's house when transfer student Stephanie Nicks, a senior, saw him. Two years later, she was the chick singer and he the bassist in a post-high school band called Fritz. It was understood that none of the guys would hit on her. But when Nicks and Buckingham migrated to Los Angeles to shop the band's demo (he was on guitar by now), they were tapped by the Polydor label - without their band mates. In Nicks' room at the Tropicana Motel, confusion was sown, innocence lost. "Why it happened between me and Lindsey was because we were so sad that we had to tell the three guys in the band that nobody wanted them, only us" she says."

so what do you think about that?

oh yeah and check this out:

THIS IS MY 1600TH POST!!!!!!

They had sex cause they were feeling bad for the other guys? Oh, that's a good one. As Dave Letterman says, "Hey, kids! Don't try this at home."

Stevie definitely has a unique way of seeing things.

Hmm, so now that Christine isn't touring with 'The Mac' just how badly does Stevie feel about that, and with whom will she share her sadness?

Also...
I just can't let this one go by....

All guys are the same....Lindsey wanted in Stevie's pants. Plain and simple. The opportunity presented itself for her to cry on his shoulder, and...............the rest is R&R infamous history!

Not that she was an unwilling partner, I'm sure!

LMAO!!
