Internet Explorer 6.0 ...

The brave new world for the ledge!

Hi David -
I must be stuck with the old world. I upgraded to IE6 and it really screwed up my 'Ledge experience' - I had to revert back to IE5.5 and seem to be okay again.

I just updated to IE6 the other day and it doesn't appear to have had any negative effects that I can tell on my system or in my viewing. How very strange.

I haven't actually had any time to install IE 6.0 and start troubleshooting that, if needed. Version 3.0 of Vbulletin has just gone into alpha testing and there are a lot of very cool new features. After a stable public beta is available I'll upgrade The Ledge and will be sure at that time to include IE 6.0 as a test browser.

I think now that I might have a virus in my computer which made IE6 misbehave.

Well, my old computer crashed a week ago and I basically ended up getting a whole new PC with Windows XP and IE 6.0. I was loving the whole experience until I tried logging on to The Ledge. I had to load cookies all over again and conveniently lost my password. I totally forgot to write it down during my rush to save as much data as I could through Safe Mode. What an experience! I hope I never have to go through this again.

Anyway, I was having some problems loading pages earlier. I was also unable to post messages. Marty - if it's not resolved by tomorrow morning, I'll be e-mailing you. I keep getting a busy server message and it's possible that you might be doing some updates that may be causing some of this. I'll keep trying.
