IT"S A TIE. SIAB and I can't wait each have 7 votes. Now if this was in the upcoming rounds i'd use past votes. but since i can't Instead of making up a tie breaker I'm going to eliminate both of them, to move this along quicker. the next one would be gone next time anyways so they're both gone. Now it gets harder.

I admit to be the world’s smallest mathematician, so I have a question, if this thing takes 6 rounds to choose a single track on a cd, and a cd contains around 18 songs, that’s 6 times 18 = 108, at a speed of a thread each week it’s gonna take more than 2 years to compile.
Somehow I get the feeling it’s gonna get boring a lot sooner.

There's only going to be 13 tracks. this is just a twist on the survivor by albums game. I'm doing all the #1 songs. Then i'm doing #2. And by the time we get to #11 Bella donna, Timespace, and The Wild Heart will all be gone. And when i get to 13 it's going to be Jane, Love Is, desert Angel, reconsider Me, somebody Stand by Me, and sleeping Angel.

okay, i got my calculations wrong (as expected) it's 8 choices for each track, (7 polls) multiply X12 that's 84 weeks, considering the fact that these boards are being closed from time to time, it still remains somewhere around 2 years in the making. please...have mercy.

p.s.
the solution is NOT 2 polls a week

I voted off Wild Heart, because compared to the other songs its the weakest I think.

BD is a great song, we can't see it go yet :(

Well, there is a solution to your problem... don't click on the threads that have "POLL" next to them. :rolleyes:

wow!!! why didn't i think of this in the first place???
but seriously, there are currently 16 (!) rate/survivor polls on the boards, it was fun at first, but it has gone way out of hand i think, according to the feedbacks i get i'm not the only one who thinks this way.
as i mentioned before, there is a polls section to this website which enables everyone to view the most statisticly-valid opinions.
fleetwood/nicks music is almost sacred to me, that's why i don't really like this 'let's kick this song in the butt' ongoing games, and since i find these boards to be an interesting place to hang around at, and some great reading material, i'm very sorry that every second thread is a survivor poll.
it's making this place shallow and boring. if you like it- that's fine, but i don't.
