It's been a while since I posted here, so some of you may not know or remember me, but for those that do, hi :wavey:
As some of you may know, I'm a Kylie Minogue fan (Stevie is still #1). Well, Kylie's new single hasn't really been getting the attention the way that her last single, "Can't Get You Out of My Head" did. There is this radio station here in DC called Hot 99.5 They played the heck out of "Can't Get .." but for some dumb reason, they haven't picked up her new single. Every day at 6:00 p.m., they have Carson Daly's top 10 most requested songs. So a bunch of us Kylie fans pulled together and we sent numerous email requests to the station and requested her new single. Well, guess what, it worked. She made it onto the countdown at #4. This is a feat considering that the station hasn't even added her new single to their playlist. So during the countdown is the only time the song has been heard on Hot 99.5
So here's my point. I want to try this with Stevie. I would like all of you to send a simple email request to the addy I have provided below and request a Stevie single. I debated over which song from TISL should we choose, and I think the best bet is "Sorcerer." Even if it's not your fave, even if you like "Every Day" or "Planets .." better, I still think we should all vote for <b>"Sorcerer."</b> It was the last song issued to radio and there was a video for it. I think it has the best chance. And if you think this is a fruitless effort, it's not. There is a song that has been making the countdown every so often by a teen singer named Vitamin C, and the song is called "Graduation (Friends Forever)." The kids love it at this time of year, and the song is like 2 years old. But it's been making the countdown, so see, it IS possible. There are a lot of people here, so if we all pull together, this could work. I'm posting this on other messages boards also. Make sure you specify both Stevie's name and the song. Send more than one email if you can from different accounts. I'll keep you guys posted on the progress.
It only takes a second, so send those emails.
