Nodmod's website has posted a crazy version of "countdown", the whole thing is great I can't stop laughing and thinking only someone like Lindsey could actually get away with it. In the audio page, check it out at http://www.fleetwoodmac-uk.com/

I have an acoustic version of Second Hand News from the same show... Neil from Go Your Own Way posted Countdown for me when I asked what my Second Hand News clip was from... SHN is GREAT!! If anyone wants to hear it, drop me a line on AIM... my s/n is largadam. I'd be more than happy to send it to ya!

I plan to rotate the MP3s and will be posting (see below) soon

Second Hand News
Street Of Dreams
Never Going Back Again.

These are from the John Boy and Billy radio show from 1992.
There is a great answer from Lindsey to a question :-

Interviwer - Would you go back to Fleetwood Mac even if they begged.
Lindsey - Well how do you know they already didn't

Great, the interview is a must

I didn't know you post here too! Cool! I don't post here often... I dunno why. I guss not many conversations catch my eye. I may post more often now, though... we'll see. :)

Thanks for doing this, BTW. I can't wait to hear the other songs!!

Is this also the show where he does Holiday Road?

This is not on the interview CD I have or on Rare and Alive (vol.1) where I have converted the tracks into MP3. However I do know of the song and have a MP3 on it.
Lindsey starts it the same as Second Hand News

"Havn't played this is a long time, lets try and find the key"

So I don't know the source of that Holiday Road acoustic clip. It's not the same as the The Sting show. :distress:

Holiday Road is from another radio show he did for 98.7 WLLZ at the Ultimate Sports Bar in Pontiac, MI. He also did Heartbreak Hotel, Louie Louie, and a couple standards. Talk about a great show! They go to the traffic gut in the hellicopter and he just makes a request and waits for Lindsey to play it, completely ignores that traffic lol. Gotta hand it to the DJ, Lindsey would've played like 2 songs if the DJ didn't keep saying "Their gonna kill us if you don't do one more!" Onee more turned out to be like 4 more.

Thanks for the info. Shoot, I wish I could've heard some of these radio shows. I have MP3s of Holiday Road and Louie Louie but that's it! :-(

I have to say, though, I find Lindsey's rendition of Louie Louie hilarious. He can only remember like, half of one verse and the chorus, so he just kind of fudges over the other parts with weird sounds and kinda words that don't make any sense!! lol!! Smooth, Lindsey! ;-)

I can't get through Eyes of the World from his San Juan Capistrano concert without a grin because he's either singing an entirely different second verse than the one he originally recorded on Mirage, or he's completely forgotten the words. Hehe.

Brian, any chance I could snag a copy of that MI radio show from you?

I'd love a copy of that too, if someone wants to trade for it... :)

I would love to, but my limit for MP3s is 10meg, maybe we could break it up into sections and I could post over three weeks.

My site only allows 2gig of bandwidth per month and after I mistakenly posted the Rhinannon Master at the beginning of the month, I used most of it up. (Surprisenly this download was very populer) and had to pay out more money to keep the site active till month end  . So I now use an off-site host for posting MP3s, which allow me 10meg only.

Let me know if we can break it up into three sections

 Wow that sucks... I would've though the domain would come with a decent amount of space. Sorry to hear it and sure we can, I put them into tracks so you can just post three or four tracks per week. I'll send ya a PM so we can get the transfer going.
