this past weekend i listened to Tusk again while i was in the car with mal and her family.....and i had never listened to the whole thing before. i decided that i really like this album! i've been listening to it ever since that trip.....it's so good! i just wish i would've gotten into it earlier!

Took me a while to listen to it all the way through, too. But Tusk has been among one of my favs for a long time now.

I think I like "Tusk" & "Rumours" about equally as fantastic works of popular art.

"Rumours" is an outdoor album -- the beach under the July sun. But "Tusk" ... "Tusk" is something that you play indoors: it's like the gray shadows along the hallway & the thick carpet under your feet.

"Rumours" is sure a great groove, though. It's hard for me to imagine pop music being any more beautifully arranged.
